Of course, no such scene happened in the canon episode. Shows how much you lot have built up the characters of Darryl and Sheila.
Aside from that, this pretty much follows the canon episode, except you've given Andy's bits to Peyton (involving the clones and such).
I wonder if Peyton will find out the secret the way Andy did (when they meet the Grimlocks).

ES: And here's tonight's episode...amazing that there's only SIX S1 episodes left! PVILLE: WOW, what a ride it has been. Can't wait for the last six. PVILLE: I sure will enjoy these, but understand why we won't be able to read any of S2 for some time. PVILLE: That is so true, I'll hope I can finish them off in that break. Okay, here's that episode: Carina Deidre Warren PVILLE: Love this opening, so glad you guys added this in. It made me smile to see this added. PVILLE: So many of my favorite lines and parts are here. I really liked. PVILLE: What a horrible premonition though. PVILLE: I love when Phoebe is doing all the research. You just know if they had their whitelighter present, we'd get the typical I'll check with the Elders. This was one of my favorites, that had Leo been present, I'm sure I'd enjoy it less, since how they got out of this mess, really kept me on the edge of my seat, without Leo to heal, orb or help. PVILLE: Oh yes, Helena. She sure had a collection. PVILLE: Oh, Briana Bowen. I noticed her last name is different from canon, which was Warren. PVILLE: Oh did I get a fright with this scene, especially worried for Prue. PVILLE: I love this Majority rules part, such a theme. Oh, is this such a underrated episode. PVILLE: I love the color coding. PVILLE: Sorry outvoted. PVILLE: That poor assistant. PVILLE: I always remember that part with Blue Prue in the kitchen so well. Shannen really had fun playing Pink and Blue Prue I bet. PVILLE: I love this part with the changes. And so loving Peyton in this arc, with Darryl knowing the truth. You guys so rock this. PVILLE: Peyton is slowly coming onto them. PVILLE: And how worried I was in the first watch with Gabriel coming for them. PVILLE: Peyton is onto them even more now. So much more fun this way. PVILLE: And one of my favorite vanquishes, or the suspense I mentioned earlier Es, with not knowing how they'd get out of this mess. So many good lines. PVILLE: And I love Peyton having Canon Andy's role. PVILLE: Perfect, really loving the Peyton story, because I have no idea where it will go, could be different than canon.

PVILLE: Great ending. Really love your changes, and this one really was so much fun to read. Can't wait for the next one.

Isn't it so great, to have that in here, really loving the Morris', and really love Sheila, and how the sisters have a female friend. And yeah, I'm dying to find out where CCDOW goes with Peyton, and if it will be like canon Charmed.

Darryl really has gotten a lot of screen time that he didn't get on the canon show. The show really underused him.
CCDOW has more than made up for that.

ES: And here's tonight's episode...amazing that there's only SIX S1 episodes left! PVILLE: WOW, what a ride it has been. Can't wait for the last six. ES: ------------ ES: Unfortunately I can't give you guys S2 yet because we still have some episodes that don't have press releases yet, especially because our S3 finale will NOT be 'Beware What You Witch For' (we all hate that one) and will instead be a combination of a couple of S3 episodes (No, not 'The Honeymoon is Over'. We hate that one, too.) So until we re-watch those in October, we won't be doing the press releases. There are also a couple of other episodes that we want to be S2 ones in order to make our 22-episode season but that haven't been written yet. So, enjoy these last episodes while you can!! PVILLE: I sure will enjoy these, but understand why we won't be able to read any of S2 for some time. ES: Thank you for understanding. -------------- ES: Hey, PVille! That break should give you enough time to finish EC! PVILLE: That is so true. I'll hope I can finish them off in that break. ES: I know the Team Charmed Cafe want to know what you think of them, especially Pheebs and Summer who wrote most of the press releases. ---------- ES: Okay, here's that episode: Carina Deidre Warren PVILLE: Love this opening, so glad you guys added this in. It made me smile to see this added. ES: Our way of keeping Darryl and Sheila as part of the story, PVILLE: So many of my favorite lines and parts are here. I really liked. ES: Hehehehe, us, too. That's why we had to include them. PVILLE: But, wat a horrible premonition! ES: Definitely! Seeing your big sister killed...*shudder* I'll always wonder why Phoebe never had a premonition of Shax killing either Piper or Prue. ES: That's one of many reasons why we're glad we didn't have the sisters find out that Leo's a whitelighter through most of this first season. PVILLE: Oh, yes, Helena. She sure had a collection. ES: That she did, she and her brother both! PVILLE: Oh, Brianna Bowen. I noticed her last name is different from canon, which was Warren. ES: Yup. Now Saturday's group had all the family keep their maiden name - their Melinda Warren is Melinda Halliwell and the three cousins in 'Pardon My Past' are sisters whose last name is Halliwell, so Brianna would be Brianna Halliwell. But since we had Melinda Warren, we couldn't do that, and since in the comics, Brianna looks like Shannen and most fans think P. Bowen is Past Prue, we liked the idea of THEM keeping their maiden name while P. Baxter (Penny's grandmother) didn't. PVILLE: Oh did I get a fright with this scene, especially worried for Prue. ES: You and me both! I screamed! PVILLE: I love this Majority rules part, such a theme. Oh, is this such a underrated episode. ES: Hehehehe too, In fact, that's what Saturday named their episode (they don't use the canon title the way we do): "Majority Rules". I love it! PVILLE: I love the color coding. ES: Me, too - especially the difference in their personalities. Blue Prue reminds me of Astral Prue in 'Just Harried'. PVILLE: Sorry outvoted. ES: Hehehehehe, yup - majority rules! PVILLE: That poor assistant. ES: I know. I find it hard to believe that that's part of Prue's personality. But then I feel that way about Blue Prue, too - one of the few reasons why this isn't one of my favorite episodes. PVILLE: I always remember that part with Blue Prue in the kitchen so well. Shannen really had fun playing Pink and Blue Prue I bet. ES: Definitely. She truly thought those WERE parts of Prue. I didn't. PVILLE: I love this part with the changes. And so loving Peyton in this arc, with Darryl knowing the truth. You guys so rock this. ES: Thank you. It was fun to give Peyton this part so she's a bigger part of the series, something Canon S1 Darryl wasn't. Of course, Darryl has a bigger part in ours, since he's taking most of Canon Andy's role. Like Canon Darryl, Peyton doesn't have as big of a role. PVILLE: Peyton is slowly coming onto them. ES: Yup. Just like Canon Andy. Since our Darryl already knows the secret, he couldn't play this role, so we let Peyton play it. PVILLE: And how worried I was in the first watch with Gabriel coming for them. ES: Oh, I was terrified! No way I thought Phoebe's idea would work! PVILLE: Peyton is onto them even more now. So much more fun this way. ES: So glad you think so! We really did have fun figuring out between Darryl and Peyton, who got which part of Andy's role. PVILLE: And one of my favorite vanquishes, or the suspense I mentioned earlier, Es, with not knowing how they'd get out of this mess. ES: It's easily their best plan that they came up with themselves without help from Leo or the Elders. Not my favorite just because it scared me so much! I do not like being scared! PVILLE: So many good lines. ES: Hehehehe, definitely! PVILLE: And I love Peyton having Canon Andy's role. ES: PVILLE: Perfect, really loving the Peyton story, because I have no idea where it will go, could be different than canon. ES: SOOOO glad you feel that way! You'll just have to keep reading and find out! ES: PVILLE: Great ending. Really love your changes, and this one really was so much fun to read. Can't wait for the next one. ES: We had SO much fun trying to have sisterly beginnings and sisterly endings, especially when the canon show didn't. That's going to be harder when we get to the episodic press releases in S3, but you know we'll try our best!

ES: Here's tonight's episode. I'll bet it's one of the favorites of a lot of fans - my S1 favorite and Granny Charmed's all-time favorite. Hence why there isn't a whole lot of changes, but we had fun with the few that we did make. Of course, since Saturday has the Power of Four, they had to make more changes due to the inclusion of Peyton, who would already be adopted in '76.
That's why we worried that our version might get boring for our "viewers" since a lot of our episodes don't have a lot of changes and it's the changes that most of our "viewers" look for. If at any point this becomes too boring for you guys and you don't want to read more, don't be afraid to let me know - I understand.
It's also why I hope that Saturday's group will fix all of their inconsistencies in their S1 (not as many in S2...) so Pheebs might decide to share it with you guys. The addition of a half-demon half-sister definitely makes for a lot of differences and as Sunday's group got to read it, we thoroughly enjoyed how they did it, even if it caused most of the inconsistencies.
Unfortunately right now, they don't plan on going back and fixing those until they're done with their version. My Sunday group is planning just four seasons right now, maybe five, but that could change as we go along, since some of our members are hoping to take it the full eight, since that's what's kept us re-watching "Charmed" and we don't know if we'll decide to quit once we're done with CCDOW.
I know Saturday's group wants at least three, but I'm not sure how much farther they plan on going.
In both cases, we'll see.
And HOW I wish that one picture had been part of the wall display in 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Piper', I mean 'Forever Charmed'.

Of course, since Saturday has the Power of Four, they had to make more changes due to the inclusion of Peyton, who would already be adopted in '76. PVILLE: I really do love this episode so much. A great classic, and in my top 5 episodes of all time for Charmed.
Why change a good thing, but I see you still did a few changes, so I'm still going to read it all, and pick up on these changes, and enjoy this episode.
Since Saturday has a Power of Four they'll have more changes I'm sure.
----------------------------------
ES: That's why we worried that our version might get boring for our "viewers" since a lot of our episodes don't have a lot of changes and it's the changes that most of our "viewers" look for. If at any point this becomes too boring for you guys and you don't want to read more, don't be afraid to let me know - I understand. PVILLE: I understand how some might find that boring, for me, I don't, especially if it is one I love, as you said earlier you still had some little changes, and I'm still curious to see what they are.
-------------------
ES: It's also why I hope that Saturday's group will fix all of their inconsistencies in their S1 (not as many in S2...) so Pheebs might decide to share it with you guys. The addition of a half-demon half-sister definitely makes for a lot of differences and as Sunday's group got to read it, we thoroughly enjoyed how they did it, even if it caused most of the inconsistencies. I know Saturday's group wants at least three, but I'm not sure how much farther they plan on going. PVILLE: Thanks Es for this rundown, I understand why they don't want to share it right now. But hope Pheebs will share them when they are fixed and ready.
I'll be curious to see how far you guys take CCDOW, if you did four seasons, that will be fine, but I hope you'll still keep re-watching, but since the later seasons are unpopular with some, It wouldn't surprised me Es, you lose some members not wanting to re-watch further, especially since you won't include them or the seasons in CCDOW to try and fix them.
Good luck Team Charmed Cafe. ES: In both cases, we'll see. PVILLE: Nicholas was one good warlock. I really liked the warlocks in S1, and most of them would make far better big bads and multi-episode villains than the ones we got later on.
PVILLE: I sure got a shock seeing this the first time when they went back on time. PVILLE: I love the little nods to the past, now I wasn't born in the 70s, but I still love seeing them. I'm sure you Es and Granny Charmed would know what the 70s was like living in it.
Did you like the post-credits intro with 70s stuff and did it give you good memories and flashbacks. I really liked it, and I actually like the 70s music, just because I wasn't born in it, doesn't mean, I don't admire the decade and music, I have many songs from that era, I enjoy Es. PVILLE: Oh yes, Grams had a heart condition, and in yours that isn't what killed her. PVILLE: Really loved Grams here, so strong. Imagine how strong Prue would be at that age, way powerful a demon or warlock would be flying right across town. PVILLE: Poor Phoebe. PVILLE: I see a difference here with how this played out, I like the change. PVILLE: What a great scene, Phoebe sure looks like Patty here, this is what made me see the resemblence Es, how about you? PVILLE: Smart one that Phoebe. PVILLE: Little Darryl. PVILLE: Poor Grams, that could have killed her with her stress of them being taken. PVILLE: I loved Little Piper and Prue, just didn't believe they were that young with who they cast. But, it doesn't ruin the enjoyment of the episode for it at all. PVILLE: Right you are Piper on kidnapping yourselves. PVILLE: This scene scared me so much even if I knew Patty couldn't die, but still, the first time, I wondered how the sisters in the past could change things.
I think this episode would have made a great two part episode.
PVILLE: Love this scene too. Always wondered about Patty's favorite aunt.
PVILLE: Oh Grams and her test.
PVILLE: I'm so surprised they got the ring that easy, I honestly expected Nicholas to catch them.
PVILLE: You got it Patty. I sure didn't think of that when I first watched it. PVILLE: Love Phoebe taking the picture. PVILLE: Great work you three. PVILLE: Wonderful ending, to a great episode. I loved the whole thing, even if it had a few changes, I still enjoyed reading it.
--------------
ES: And HOW I wish that one picture had been part of the wall display in 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Piper', I mean 'Forever Charmed'.
PVILLE: For sure Es they should have added that one. No excuses Shannen won't need to be paid for that photo. I know she was contacted for the finale or so she claims, but turned them down not liking what they had for her character. But, I didn't like how the finale was so overcrowded, and Wyatt and Chris were just useless filler and not needed. I might be one who doesn't feel you need to throw everyone into the last episode just because it is the last one, as it takes the story away from the stars, if you wante to bring people back, they should have done that an episode or two before the finale, but it just makes it more about the returnees and less about the stars. Sorry for my little rant.

I head that, if they wanted to use Shannen's picture for the finale, they would have had to drop a few guest stars.
They should have paid for Shannen's picture, IMO. She was part of the show for the first few seasons, no matter what Kernus wanted us to believe.

It wouldn't have bothered me at all if a few guest stars got cut in order to use her photo. Like we don't lose anything if Wyatt or Chris don't appear, they were truly just filler to the story and brought back for the heck of throwing everyone into the mix.
Honestly, to save budget money, they could have had Piper gone back and brought past versions of the Charmed Ones from an earlier season, and had those three do the spell. No need for Patty or Grams to appear at all and do that spell. But, I feel like since Alyssa and Rose were so desperate to get out of the show, and had other commitments and why they didn't appear much in the finale (still don't get why they couldn't have filmed out of order, and having Alyssa and Rose have bigger parts in the finale should have been more a priority, since the worse part was how very Piper/Leo centric the finale was)
Otherwise, Es suggestion of using the photo from the 70s episode would be good enough and at least something.
The fun part is I'll know our Team Charmed Cafe members writing CCDOW, will not ever have a finale as bad as Forever Crap, I mean Forever Charmed. So I'm really excited to read what they do for theirs when they ever share it with us here when that time comes.

Yeah, you got the impression that Alyssa and Rose couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Of course, given what we know about Kernus now, I can see why. Rose had already had a horrible experience with The Monster. And while her experiences with Kernus were not as bad, they no doubt brought back unpleasant memories.

ES: Well, that works for this one which as you said is a classic. But what if some of the not-so-classic episodes don't have a lot of changes? I wonder if you'd still feel that way. Tim seems like he was bored since all he mentioned was the change between Andy and Darryl (yawn!), but if he gets too bored and decides to stop reading, I won't complain one single bit since all of his comments are boring and unneeded. But if you or Carina or (if she ever comes back) Deidre ever feel that way, I'll understand. -------------------
ES: It's also why I hope that Saturday's group will fix all of their inconsistencies in their S1 (not as many in S2...) so Pheebs might decide to share it with you guys. ES: Nope, it wasn't, but she was in the hospital earlier and had heart problems while taking the iconic picture, so this still fits. PVILLE: Really loved Grams here, so strong. Imagine how strong Prue would be at that age, way powerful a demon or warlock would be flying right across town. ES: Just remember what she did in 'Morality Bites'! By the time she reached Grams' age...WOW! PVILLE: Poor Phoebe. ES: I know. My heart SO ached for her during this episode! If she wasn't my favorite before (which she was), she sure became my favorite during this one! SOOO my Phoebs! And if you don't think we'll do our absolutely best to KEEP her my Phoebs, you're nuts! PVILLE: I see a difference here with how this played out, I like the change. ES: Huh? Now you've got me - where's the difference? PVILLE: What a great scene, Phoebe sure looks like Patty here, this is what made me see the resemblance, Es, how about you? ES: Definitely - so much that it took my breath away! ESPECIALLY when they smile at each other! PVILLE: Smart one that Phoebe. ES: That's my Phoebs! PVILLE: Little Darryl. ES: Wouldn't he look cute in the cowboy outfit? PVILLE: Poor Grams, that could have killed her with her stress of them being taken. ES: It truly could've. How badly would the sisters have felt and how much might that have messed up their future - or (hehehehe!) maybe make them have less love-troubles, since I always felt that was due to them being raised by her. PVILLE: I loved Little Piper and Prue, just didn't believe they were that young with who they cast. But, it doesn't ruin the enjoyment of the episode for it at all. ES: Nope, they were all 8 (including Little Andy), not 4 and 2. But like you, when I first watched it, I never gave that a second thought. PVILLE: Right you are Piper on kidnapping yourselves. ES: Hehehehe! I so love S1 Piper - she always had the right sarcastic line for hte right moment! PVILLE: This scene scared me so much even if I knew Patty couldn't die, but still, the first time, I wondered how the sisters in the past could change things.
ES: Just like Grams dying could've messed up things, Patty dying while pregnant with Phoebe REALLY could've! ------------ PVILLE: I think this episode would have made a great two part episode.
ES: I don't. I think it's perfect exactly as is. More might have been too much. --------------- PVILLE: Love this scene too. ES: Me, too. PVILLE: Always wondered about Patty's favorite aunt.
ES: Me, too. Saturday's group fixed it by saying that Peyton was raised by Penny's younger sister, Phoebe...Patty's favorite aunt, who would be the sisters' Great-Aunt Phoebe. To keep the two Phoebes apart, they've nicknamed Great-Aunt Phoebe GA.
PVILLE: Oh Grams and her test. ES: Hehehehe - especially the answers! PVILLE: I'm so surprised they got the ring that easy, I honestly expected Nicholas to catch them.
ES: I did, too. Maybe that's why you think it should've been a two-parter, but just that wouldn't have been enough. PVILLE: You got it Patty. I sure didn't think of that when I first watched it. ES: Me, either. But I used something like it in my 'Forever Crap' rewrite - made more sense than saying three generations of Halliwells could cast a Power of Three spell. MAN, I hated that! PVILLE: Love Phoebe taking the picture. ES: And as I say later, SOOOO wish that picture had been up on the wall at the end of 'Forever Crap'! PVILLE: Great work you three. ES: PVILLE: Wonderful ending, to a great episode. I loved the whole thing, even if it had a few changes, I still enjoyed reading it. ES: Hmmm... you've got me SO confused! I think subbing Darryl for Andy is the only change. --------------
ES: And HOW I wish that one picture had been part of the wall display in 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Piper', I mean 'Forever Charmed'. PVILLE: For sure, Es. They should have added that one. Sorry for my little rant.
ES: No need to apologize because I agree totally - ESPECIALLY if they used that picture and left Wyatt and Chris out of it - or if they DID have to include them, skip the pictures at the end and instead include their younger sister Prudence Melinda! That would've also been a better nod to Prue.

If at any point this becomes too boring for you guys and you don't want to read more, don't be afraid to let me know - I understand. PVILLE: I understand how some might find that boring, for me, I don't, especially if it is one I love, as you said earlier you still had some little changes, and I'm still curious to see what they are.
PVILLE: I'll still read them, because, even if they don't have changes, you have people like Darryl and Peyton, so it still is actually somewhat different, as I'd be picturing different actors and characters in the parts. Unlike Tim, I don't get bored very easily.
PVILLE: Thanks, Es, for this rundown, I understand why they don't want to share it right now.
ES: PVILLE: PVILLE: Nicholas was one good warlock. I really liked the warlocks in S1, and most of them would make far better big bads and multi-episode villains than the ones we got later on.
ES: AMEN!! I *so* wish they'd stuck with warlocks who were all different rather than demons who were all the same. PVILLE: Me too. The demons were all the same, and I honestly don't have any favorite demons apart from Zankou from S5-S8. They all seemed the same throwing fireballs. PVILLE: I sure got a shock seeing this the first time when they went back on time. ES: You and me both! PVILLE: PVILLE: I love the little nods to the past, now I wasn't born in the 70s, but I still love seeing them. ES: Oh, yes, all the nods to the 70s definitely made me smile. PVILLE: I'm so glad. PVILLE: Oh yes, Grams had a heart condition, and in yours that isn't what killed her. ES: Nope, it wasn't, but she was in the hospital earlier and had heart problems while taking the iconic picture, so this still fits. PVILLE: I see. Thanks for letting me know. PVILLE: Really loved Grams here, so strong. Imagine how strong Prue would be at that age, way powerful a demon or warlock would be flying right across town. ES: Just remember what she did in 'Morality Bites'! By the time she reached Grams' age...WOW! PVILLE: I know right, she'd be so strong, and why they didn't even need all those extra powers, their original ones were just enough. PVILLE: I'm so excited to keep on reading, especially when she is no longer the Phoebs we all know in S3-S8. PVILLE: I see a difference here with how this played out, I like the change. ES: Huh? Now you've got me - where's the difference? PVILLE: The part about the prunes. Here you have them telling Patty they are her cousins right away. PVILLE: What a great scene, Phoebe sure looks like Patty here, this is what made me see the resemblance, Es, how about you? ES: Definitely - so much that it took my breath away! ESPECIALLY when they smile at each other! PVILLE: Me too, with the smiles. You made me want to re-watch that scene again, and I'll see if Youtube has one, than bringing out my DVD just for the scene. PVILLE: Smart one that Phoebe. ES: That's my Phoebs! PVILLE: PVILLE: Little Darryl. ES: Wouldn't he look cute in the cowboy outfit? PVILLE: PVILLE: Poor Grams, that could have killed her with her stress of them being taken. ES: It truly could've. How badly would the sisters have felt and how much might that have messed up their future - or (hehehehe!) maybe make them have less love-troubles, since I always felt that was due to them being raised by her. PVILLE: That sure would be a big change. They'd be raised by Victor then I'd presume, unless they had another relative who took them in when Patty died. PVILLE: PVILLE: Right you are Piper on kidnapping yourselves. ES: Hehehehe! I so love S1 Piper - she always had the right sarcastic line for hte right moment! PVILLE: It was perfect in S1, not like how she just came across as mean later in the series. PVILLE: This scene scared me so much even if I knew Patty couldn't die, but still, the first time, I wondered how the sisters in the past could change things.
ES: Just like Grams dying could've messed up things, Patty dying while pregnant with Phoebe REALLY could've! PVILLE: *nods* ------------ PVILLE: I think this episode would have made a great two part episode.
ES: I don't. I think it's perfect exactly as is. More might have been too much. PVILLE: That's okay. We just see that differently.
PVILLE: I love that Saturday did that with theirs, that is so good. I love what they did here.
PVILLE: Oh Grams and her test. ES: Hehehehe - especially the answers! PVILLE: PVILLE: I'm so surprised they got the ring that easy, I honestly expected Nicholas to catch them.
ES: I did, too. Maybe that's why you think it should've been a two-parter, but just that wouldn't have been enough. PVILLE: It is Es, that and a few other things could have been added. PVILLE: You got it Patty. I sure didn't think of that when I first watched it. ES: Me, either. But I used something like it in my 'Forever Crap' rewrite - made more sense than saying three generations of Halliwells could cast a Power of Three spell. MAN, I hated that! PVILLE: So much more sense. That really was just so bad what Kern did. PVILLE: Love Phoebe taking the picture. ES: And as I say later, SOOOO wish that picture had been up on the wall at the end of 'Forever Crap'! PVILLE: Me too. PVILLE: Great work you three. ES: PVILLE: PVILLE: Wonderful ending, to a great episode. I loved the whole thing, even if it had a few changes, I still enjoyed reading it. ES: Hmmm... you've got me SO confused! I think subbing Darryl for Andy is the only change. PVILLE: And I stated the change above I picked up on. --------------
ES: And HOW I wish that one picture had been part of the wall display in 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Piper', I mean 'Forever Charmed'. PVILLE: For sure, Es. They should have added that one.
ES: No need to apologize because I agree totally - ESPECIALLY if they used that picture and left Wyatt and Chris out of it - or if they DID have to include them, skip the pictures at the end and instead include their younger sister Prudence Melinda! That would've also been a better nod to Prue. PVILLE: Now that would have been great.

Here's tonight's episode. A few more changes in this one... PVILLE: I can't wait. PVILLE: Given Darryl and Sheila having a son, I love this so much more than canon Es. PVILLE: Trust my Team Charmed Cafe writers to find a way to make the Grimlocks warlocks. Very good. I also feel much more for Mikey here verses a son and friend whom we never saw again. This would have freaked me out even more with it being Mikey. PVILLE: I sure got scared on a first watch. PVILLE: Perfect. Again very interested to see where Peyton's character and story goes. PVILLE: Thank you, Phoebe. PVILLE: I love them in research mode Es. I find this so much more fun than getting the info from Leo. Now this feels so much better with it being Darryl and Sheila's son, I'm feeling so much more for our innocent in this one. Not that I wouldn't have in canon, but here it feels more emotional had I watched it this way. PVILLE: I forgot all about Lohman. Now, I remember this subplot with him. PVILLE: Brent was a good character and him and Phoebe's chemistry. PVILLE: Again, another scary part. PVILLE: Hurry you two. Yes we have changes, but you never know what CCSOW will do. PVILLE: And love that he already knows the secret when Lohman tells him this. PVILLE: Love them. PVILLE: So good when he is in the know. PVILLE: Forgot Lohman is the first to discover their secret and catch them. Yes, Prue tell Darryl. PVILLE: Lohman is such an annoying man. PVILLE: I love that she is taking Andy's parts from this one. I was wondering about her in this one. PVILLE: Did she catch them using their powers, Peyton. I don't think so, otherwise, you'd have made that clear. So she is still in the dark. PVILLE: I sure got scared the first time, and this time I am even more, as I don't know what you'll do with it. PVILLE: YAY, Mikey is safe. PVILLE: WOW, a huge change. Peyton is told the secret from Darryl. I love this change Es. I really didn't know what was going to happen. PVILLE: Mother and Son reunited. Yes, Piper misses Leo, and she didn't get to know him alright. But, she also misses Mark too, and Leo reminds Piper of Mark, interesting. PVILLE: Aww. PVILLE: A different ending, but I love this so much.

PVILLE: What a great ending, I really love this one.

Of course, they didn't have Rose and Alyssa for the first half, so Patty and Penny were shoehorned in.
Can't blame Shannen for not wanting to be in the finale.

ES: This is flipping forward to the off-season between the second and third seasons and also is about Saturday's version rather than ours, but after reading your posts about Shannen, I simply have to share.
Just like she did for "Elemental Charmed", Pheebs has been adapting Deadline articles to fit their series, but rather than based on real ones about the rip-off, she's found some archived articles from the late 1990s/early 2000s and adapted those. Since she can't be Pheebs Halliwell (obviously!), she's now going by Pheebs Harper.
Please note how much of a rerun "Charmed" was for Shannen:

ES: Here's tonight's episode. A few more changes in this one... PVILLE: I can't wait. ES: PVILLE: Given Darryl and Sheila having a son, I love this so much more than canon Es. ES: We keep looking for ways to include the Morrises and this one, including Mikey, is one of our favorites. PVILLE: Trust my Team Charmed Cafe writers to find a way to make the Grimlocks warlocks. Very good. ES: Naturally. Just like EC, our only demons are the Demons of, who are the opposite of the Angels of, and appear as often... ------------ PVILLE: I also feel much more for Mikey here verses a son and friend whom we never saw again. This would have freaked me out even more with it being Mikey. ES: That's how we looked at it, so I'm SO glad you agree! PVILLE: I sure got scared on a first watch. ES: Me, too! PVILLE: Perfect. Again very interested to see where Peyton's character and story goes. ES: PVILLE: Thank you, Phoebe. ES: Hehehehe! PVILLE: I love them in research mode, Es. I find this so much more fun than getting the info from Leo. ES: AMEN! Even if we decide to have whitelighters, there's no way they'll overshadow either Phoebe's laptop or the Book of Shadows! ------------- PVILLE: Now this feels so much better with it being Darryl and Sheila's son, I'm feeling so much more for our innocent in this one. Not that I wouldn't have in canon, but here it feels more emotional had I watched it this way. ES: I understand totally. I also feel more for Darryl and Sheila than I would for some friend of the sisters who you never see again. PVILLE: I forgot all about Lohman. Now, I remember this subplot with him. ES: One of the non-magical villains who I LOVE to hate! PVILLE: Brent was a good character and him and Phoebe's chemistry. ES: I LOVED Brent and LOVED the chemistry he had with Phoebe. She did so much better when the guy was just a friend and not a love interest! PVILLE: Again, another scary part. ES: Definitely! PVILLE: Hurry. you two. Yes, we have changes, but you never know what CCDOW will do. ES: Hehehehe! SOOOO glad you feel that way! PVILLE: And love that he already knows the secret when Lohman tells him this. ES: We really thought it worked better for Darryl to know the secret and accept it by this point. PVILLE: Love them. ES: Me, too. PVILLE: So good when he is in the know. ES: Definitely! PVILLE: Forgot Lohman is the first to discover their secret and catch them. Yes, Prue tell Darryl. ES: Yup, he was, and, oh, did he make me nervous! PVILLE: Lohman is such an annoying man. ES: Definitely. I understand why he was that way - part of being a reporter - but, oh, he irritated me! PVILLE: I love that she is taking Andy's parts from this one. I was wondering about her in this one. ES: Yup, she's taking Andy's role much more than Darryl is, since Andy didn't know the secret at this point. PVILLE: Did she catch them using their powers, Peyton. I don't think so, otherwise, you'd have made that clear. So she is still in the dark. ES: Yup, she is. PVILLE: I sure got scared the first time, and this time I am even more, as I don't know what you'll do with it. ES: Hehehehe! Believe me, if you were reading Saturday's version, you'd be feeling that way even more! PVILLE: YAY, Mikey is safe. ES: Yup, safe and with his sight! PVILLE: WOW, a huge change. Peyton is told the secret from Darryl. I love this change Es. I really didn't know what was going to happen. ES: We HATED Andy not knowing and Charmed trying to turn him into a bad guy. We couldn't do that to Peyton now that she's taking over his role. PVILLE: Mother and Son reunited. ES: Yup!! Wouldn't you have loved to see that? This would've been such a great episode to include Darryl's family! ----------- PVILLE: Yes, Piper misses Leo, and she didn't get to know him alright. But, she also misses Mark too, and Leo reminds Piper of Mark, interesting. ES: Yup...it is... PVILLE: Aww. ES: That was SUCH a sweet scene - we HAD to include it! PVILLE: A different ending, but I love this so much. ES: Another one of our sisterly ones, but this time we also include the Morrisses. PVILLE: What a great ending, I really love this one. ES: YAY!!! I'm SOOO very glad!

ES: And here's tonight's episode...oh, man, I can't wait to see what you guys think of THIS one!! phoebevilleCarinaDeidre Warren ES: So?? What do you think of THAT for a change??!! Now you know why we changed the order. Mark's glamour "Leo" couldn't show up until after Mark had died! Like I've said, we prefer Piper with Mark over Leo, besides enjoying having an Oriental actor starring in a series that takes place in San Francisco!

Pretty good twist here, revealing that Leo is really Mark. Nice that you've made Mark more than just the Innocent Of the Week.
I guess that Leo, like Andy, Rex, Hannah, and Josh, doesn't exist here.
You recast Daisy. Why did you pick Kat Coiro, if I may ask. She's not even an actor (she's a writer and director).
Are you going to keep the Founders name? As I have said, I think the reason they changed it to Elders because of the race of DS9, which were called the Founders.
More than the canon show ever did. Oh they had a few, but they were just token characters.
And can you clear something up in regards to Peyton. Is she Darryl's partner, and a fourth sister. Or am I mixing this up with another series you lot have going over there.

As usual you just skimmed. As I've said many times, Peyton is Darryl's partner in our version and the sisters' half-demon half-sister in Saturday's version which has the Power of Four rather than our Power of Three. Our Peyton is a non-magical who doesn't have any powers while Saturday's Peyton can shimmer. Our Peyton is not Charmed while Saturday's Peyton is.
For the first time, I'll explain that when we first started working on CCDOW, both groups worked together, using half-demon half-sister Peyton - the name based on EC's Peyton. After a while, my Sunday group decided we wanted to stick closer to canon, except without Andy, so we started over and let Darryl take over Andy's role, letting Peyton take over Darryl's, meaning that she was no longer Charmed, and we had the Power of Three back. We probably should've given Peyton a different name at that time, but both groups liked the idea of the same actor playing a different role in each version, turning one into the alternate version of the other, while both were different than canon.
Although I'm sure you once more just skimmed this too-long-for-you post, I still hope that straightens it out for you.

Esmeralda ES: This is flipping forward to the off-season between the second and third seasons and also is about Saturday's version rather than ours, but after reading your posts about Shannen, I simply have to share. PVILLE: Es, I'm really excited to read this one. What a special treat. ES: Please note how much of a rerun "Charmed" was for Shannen: PVILLE: I really enjoyed reading this one. Don't I wish Shannen stayed, I'd love to have known just what speech she would have given if she made to 100 episodes. I liked when she mentioned her favorite episodes, very happy she mentioned 'Murphy's Luck', at least it is an actual Prue episode, and not just what she enjoyed filming. Also liked what she said about the others, and of course, love how well Pheebs added in the parts of Jocelyn to fit the group's version. Sounds to me, Shannen was never going to want to be in the show more than five seasons. I liked hearing why she didn't go back for the 90210 series finale which I thought had to do with her directing debut on Charmed, but I agree with her, why go back for a cameo that served no purpose. I'm half wondering, if that is why she turned down appearing in the Charmed series finale, that or she didn't like what Kern had written. PVILLE: I'm really looking forward to it. Knowing you guys, I'll be shocked again with some changes from canon. PVILLE: Again perfect that Sheila can collect mail and feed Kit while they are away. It is the least she can do for them. PVILLE: Alec was such a good villain. PVILLE: Yes, Piper is still hung up on Leo, and we know he'll be coming into the manor soon.
PVILLE: WOW! I'm literally in shock, I can not believe it. You guys gave my my biggest shock and change yet. But, I love it so much. I honestly didn't notice, but it all makes sense given how this season played out. If I was watching this, believe me, I'd be in shock processing this during the credits. PVILLE: A huge bombshell for sure, I'm still in shock. PVILLE: That sure would be painful Mark. PVILLE: And, that all makes sense. I especially love that Phoebe never found out that Leo was Mark until now too. So all three would be in shock seeing Leo change into Mark. PVILLE: Right you are Piper, you sure did feel that connection with Leo (I sure didn't at all, but now looking back, it all makes sense), and so love Piper here, especially her mentioning Jeremy and understanding how scared Daisy must be. PVILLE: So glad Peyton you now know. I feel the secret reveals have played out so very well here. PVILLE: Always family. PVILLE: Mark and Piper do have food in common. Love her not knowing what to call Mark, and especially love that they didn't take their relationship to the next level. So proud of Mark, not like Leo, who as much as I liked him in Canon S1, I hated what they did in 'Wicca Envy' when Leo should know better, and to break Piper's heart when he leaves. PVILLE: Poor Piper, this would be so much worse for her, losing Mark again, when she only got him back or at least found out he is back now. PVILLE: Too late you two. PVILLE: I actually liked the power switching spell, as I liked Prue and Phoebe's subplot. PVILLE: Poor Darryl, that would be hard for him. PVILLE: Good try you two, I really did love them trying to use get used to the others powers. PVILLE: Mark is gone. Is he really gone, with CCDOW, It sure would upset me if he is really gone, I sure hope not. PVILLE: I loved Piper's speech. PVILLE: Good call Darryl, send Sheila and Mikey away for protection. PVILLE: You found it Piper, I'm so glad Mark is back. Love was the trigger. PVILLE: Good job Piper, go get Alec you two. PVILLE: I sure don't want you to feel that way again Prue with so much hate. PVILLE: I so love this addition, which would never happen if this was Canon Leo. But I really love it so much more. PVILLE: I really love this scene. PVILLE: Darryl always looking out for the sisters, and so good that Peyton knows their secret too. PVILLE: I remember that sonic-scream sure have me a headache watching it. PVILLE: I'm sure Martin never would. Nice scene to lead into hopefully Piper quitting Quake like canon, but I love how it plays out here way more than canon, and not just because of what her annoying rich snob former high school classmate said that made you think to quit. PVILLE: I love this ending. Was a good one. ES: So?? What do you think of THAT for a change??!! Now you know why we changed the order. Mark's glamour "Leo" couldn't show up until after Mark had died! Like I've said, we prefer Piper with Mark over Leo, besides enjoying having an Oriental actor starring in a series that takes place in San Francisco! PVILLE: I love it Es, I really do. Now it all makes sense. I really do like what you have done. As I said above, you can bet, if I was watching this, it would be my number 1 biggest shocking moment of S1. I really liked Piper/Mark, and you have done a great job with their S1 story.

I've got a bunch of Real-Life stuff I have to do this afternoon before tonight's re-read, so I'm just going to give you tonight's episode. But phoebeville, I'm VERY happy that you like what we did with "Leo". Just notice that Mark's gone - and no saying when/if he'll be back... Here's tonight's episode, the first of our two-part season finale:
