I'd like to see her back too, but as time passes, it's seems unlikely that's going to happen. Seems that she's ghosted us.
And just what does "productive" mean, Esmeralda? By all means, enlighten me.
Well, since I'm breaking no rules here, I shall continue to post my "boring reviews" regardless.
To be honest with you, Esmeralda, I get the feeling that if it were someone else positing the same reviews, you wouldn't have an issue with it. However, it's no state secret that you don't like me (and the feeling is mutual), so you're just taking the opportunity to take pot shots at me.
Ah well, whatever turns you on.

As usual, you're wrong, but like Trump, I'm sure you'll never admit it. (You remind me a lot of Trump - one of the reasons why I don't like you.)
If you wrote a review like the others (and you never have - anywhere. No, I take that back. Some of your C:RI reviews at ff.net were good--not great, but good. But none of your ProBoard ones have been.) I'd say so, and I'd "like" it. That just has not been the case and it's probably the main reason why I don't like you.
I told Carina that I didn't like her latest ones which were actually very similar to yours, so again you're wrong. But unlike you, she's written some fantastic reviews. And, no, by fantastic reviews, I don't mean that she liked everything because she and PVille and Deidre haven't always. I actually prefer reviews like those because they help Team Charmed Cafe improve. But the others always give great suggestions on how to fix what they don't like, but it's never trying to make them seem smarter than the writers and never all about them--or all about me, since they know I'm not the one who wrote any of these--their compliments are always for the ones who wrote them, which is why I enjoy sharing them at the Cafe on our Month-Day, which is tomorrow. But I always share theirs, never yours. You write a non-boring one that's not just set up to show how "smart" you are, I will.
I WILL give you credit - your reviews are no longer just one sentence long and it now appears that you're actually reading my posts. But your posts are still boring and still make me roll my eyes as you tell me stuff that is so very obvious and doesn't bear repeating.
If you want to count what I write to you as potshots so you don't have to admit that I'm right, that's up to you. To me, it's just telling the truth.

First of all, never compare me to the likes of Trump. One of the few things that you and can agree on is that he's a horrible leader and is unfit for the office he currently holds.
Moving on...
Second of all, the issue seems to be my silence on things I don't like. The reasons is that when I see something a fan wrote that I don't like, I point it out to them via PM, not one the public board. I feel that such a matter is a private thing. None of us are pros here, Esmeralda. Clearly, you don't agree with that, but that's your prerogative.
Third, as you know, I can't access CCDOW directly, since you have be a Cafe member to do that, and that is not an option for me. I have to rely on others to provide the information. So I can't see the whole story.
I would love to be part of CCDOW, because I feel that I have stuff I could bing to the table. And no, I would never attempt to impose Rex and Hannah on the proceedings, because I know that R&H don't exist in CCDOW, and I respect my fellow authors. Now, I don't know how you lot decide what is and isn't part of CCDOW, but it was clearly decided that R&H had no place there, and I am more than flexible on the issue. However, since I can't join in on the CCDOW, this point is moot.
Lastly, you seem to have the impression that I think I'm better than any other fan writer. Well, you're dead wrong on that account. I've never thought so. Of course, I can't prove that, you can either believe or don't believe.

Sometimes real life does get in the way, as we don't know what happened to her. Although, I'll admit, I'm worried like the rest of you. In our Team Charmed Cafe, we had a member who had disappeared from the board for a whole year, turns out it was because she was pregnant with her first child, she's now back and active and part of the re-watches and CCDOW, although, her baby takes top priority. I just wanted to point this out, and say, that you'd be surprised who might go away for whatever reason for a while, even a year, and come back. Sometimes people have their reasons. It could be as was mentioned she got bored with EC, but I'm sure we'd love her to come on and tell us. But, with her absence, i couldn't help but think of one of our own members at the Cafe, who disappeared for up to a year, and returned. Here's hoping.

Esmeralda ES: I'm glad you liked these, PVille. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of our second episode. I hope you read what I wrote in the previous post: PVILLE: Oh, no, I thought I reviewed Part 2 of the series opener. But, it appears to be gone on the thread. I also hate having to repeat something, I already did. But, I'll give a summary Es, so can know how I felt about it. ES: Oh, you and me both! I HATE rewriting something I already wrote!! So I REALLY appreciate you doing that now!
PVILLE: So? What do you think and, PVille, do you want to read more? PVILLE: Going to try and repeat what I loved about it from last week (I hate having to do that) but I'd like to let everyone know what I thought. ES: And again, I really appreciate you trying to repeat what you wrote before.
PVILLE: ---------- PVILLE: Really loved how sisterly focused it was, even more than the canon. I loved the moment in the attic when Prue finds Phoebe having been reading the book all night. I remember a certain Power of Three novel had Melinda Warren appear to her as a ghost. ES: Yup, that was the novelization of SWTWC. We decided to keep ours a bit closer to canon and not have Melinda appear until 'The Witch is Back' so she wouldn't be burnt or hung.
PVILLE: Good call. Since you are doing it closer to canon that makes lots of sense to me. I do love that novel in general though, because it added more to the plot. I wished we got more novelizations of Charmed episodes.
-------------- PVILLE: I also loved the twists, I really thought you were going to have Chef Moore as the warlock, when Piper got hurt. But, I loved them all going to the pharmacy, and Piper being included in this scene. ES: Hehehehe! Glad we kept you guessing. I THINK Saturday had the chef be the warlock, since he doesn't show up any more. Instead, we're almost done with S2 and Jeremy and Piper are still a couple - no Leo.
PVILLE: You did, and I like when stories or shows do this to me. So it isn't too predictable. Oh, that's so cool that they did do that.
Looks like I'm going to like this Piper, especially if she isn't with Leo. Even if she was, you'd have me wondering how differently it would be done.
--------------- PVILLE: I also loved how the sisters were with Prue watching her close the manor door. ES: As you can tell, we want all three actresses to be the stars, not just Shannen.
PVILLE: Good call. I hated when they favor one star over another. But, since Shannen was the big star and marketed for the show as a comeback since 90210, I get why they did that in early S1. But by the time S3 came, she never was, it was Alyssa and then Holly in S5-S8.

I hope you're right, Pheebs. Perhaps Deirdre just got sidetracked by Real Life. However, until she reappears, all we can do is guess.
Ghosting did cause the end of Destined, which was a Charmed Sons spin off. They had a Proboards, like this one. And I believe that both StoryGirl and Esmeralda were members there.
Anyway, the founders of Destined were called Shannon (Twin Swords) and Jennifer (Strikermac). They were the authors, and another member, Shraddha, handled the tech stuff.
After only just 2 1/2 episodes, Shannon had a baby and decided, rightfully so, to make motherhood her priority. She left the project for good. Destined came to a halt after that. However, they had not really given up. By 2011, it seemed they were ready to resume work. However, then Jennifer mysteriously vanished. The following quote is from Shraddha, she posted this on the now defunct Charmed Sons board in 2012:
As far as I know, Shraddha never heard from Jennifer again. The Destined board was shut down for good (or rather, it was put on Maintenance Mode, as only the Admins, both of where were gone, could shut it down for good).
Anyway, I hope that Deirdre does come back and let's us all know that everything is okay (knocking on wood as I type this).

phoebeville Carina Deidre Warren ES: Happy Easter, everyone! Even though I'm sure it's an unusual one, I hope it was still a good one for you. Since it's Sunday and PVille replied to Episode 3, here's Episode 4. I'm sure you'll notice that this one is "aired" earlier than it was in canon. We did that quite a bit for a very special reason, but one you'll have to figure that part out later... PVILLE: I did Es, and I see everyone else did too. PVILLE: I take it this is the canon tagline. Interesting spot to have it come this early in the season. But, with the tension between Prue and Phoebe in the season as they grow closer, I like that it is this soon.
PVILLE: Here is Claire, and the old owner vanishes. Roger sure left so much trouble. But, I like that it is him, and he is just a regular human doing criminal things. PVILLE: This story was a fun one. So glad, Prue noticed the ring at the end, otherwise, he'd be fired. PVILLE: And here, he still doesn't know the secret. PVILLE: I keep thinking of the Guardian, I still don't like her, she seems like a bad guy, not neutral to me as she claims.
ES: So? What do you think?
PVILLE: Good job . I do think you may have done a good thing placing it earlier, I just think of the tension between Prue and Phoebe here, and why wouldn't Phoebe have not told Prue about Clay but Piper, and he shows up months later. But, maybe you guys have a different reason for placing it this early. I can't wait to find out.
I do like this ending with the sisters, its one I enjoyed for the sisterly parts. But otherwise, I still don't like this one too much, but it not the worse of S1.

Nice to see that Team Charmed's decision to remove Rex and Hannah from the proceedings didn't affect the Prue VS Claire storyline.
Was a shame that Claire just disappeared into thin air after Season One. Hopefully CCDOW plans to keep her around.

ES: I was thinking of you, Carina, wondering how your first Easter without your dad was going. CARINA: Thank you Es. ----------------------------- CARINA: But, I did enjoy coloring Easter Eggs with my mom, we made that our little project all last week, why I hadn't been on much. We've never done it before, but was fun to keep busy. I did got to talk to my extended family on the phone and skype over Easter, which was nice. ES: Yeah, that's what we did, too - skype with the family and attend Easter Mass via TV. I also bought myself a chocolate Easter Bunny and a ham TV dinner so it would feel a bit more like Easter. And I took down my Christmas stuff - which seemed funny since outside looks more like Christmas than Easter. I keep it up all winter so that it can light up the dark during winter. I've always thought Christmas should happen on January 25th rather than December 25th - it would make getting through the coldest month easier, and historians are quite certain that Jesus was born in April, not December - December 25th was actually originally a Celtic holiday that Christians turned into Mary and Christ's Mass (Merry Christmas). CARINA: That sounds so nice. I'm so glad, you had a great time. I too also had a Easter Egg, and we actually treated ourselves to making one of our favorite pasta bakes. That's an interesting point you brought up about it being on January 25th than December 25th. I do recall the same thing, with Jesus being born in April not December. I'd still love to know how it feels like to have a warm Christmas like those on the other side of the world. I tend to forget that, as all I know is Christmas like it is in the cold weather. ------------------------------- CARINA: I'm lookiing forward to finding out the special reason why this one is moved earlier. Now, that I'm up to date, I'm wanting to do better next week. -------------------------- ES: I can't wait until you guys find out - especially if you figure it out before I reveal it! CARINA: Me too Es. I'm looking forward to it. ES: So? What do you think? CARINA: I liked that you kept the ending, I liked that sisterly one. I also don't mind the Shelly and Doug story. ES: ------------- CARINA: Yes, like canon, Claire becomes Prue's new boss, but difference is at the Museum, after Roger is gone. ES: Yup. None of us wanted to include Rex and/or Hannah (especially her!). But in case you wonder, no, Buckland Museum has nothing to do with why we put this in a different spot. CARINA: Thanks, I can knock that off my list of reasons why you put this in a different spot then. -------------- CARINA: I look forward to seeing why this one got placed earlier, and I have faith my CCDOW Team have done it for a great reason. ES: We sure think so, and I'm very curious to see if you guys will also think it's a good reason. Again, a shorter-than-usual review, but because you're catching up and because you've given such wonderful ones earlier, I understand. CARINA: Me too. Yes, now that I'm caught up, I'll have a better one next week. Are you guys nearly finished with S2 in your re-watch and CCDOW?

phoebeville Carina Deidre Warren ES: It's Sunday and time for another episode! But first I want to reply to the reviews of last week. (Naturally doesn't include replying to Tim since he's yet to figure out how to post a proper message board review!)
ES: Happy Easter, everyone! Even though I'm sure it's an unusual one, I hope it was still a good one for you. Since it's Sunday and PVille replied to Episode 3, here's Episode 4. PVILLE: Interesting spot to have it come this early in the season. But, with the tension between Prue and Phoebe in the season as they grow closer, I like that it is this soon.
ES: Good job, that's actually the reason why this one is posted so early. The canon one was written by Kern and this seems to be how he saw the sisters. We did in early S1, but not later.
OOPS! My bad! There's another reason besides this one that some of these are posted earlier than canon. Maybe some of the other episodes will hep you guys figure it out.
PVILLE: Here is Claire, and the old owner vanishes. Roger sure left so much trouble. But, I like that it is him, and he is just a regular human doing criminal things. ES: We did, too. Our favorite "villains" were the non-magical ones. PVILLE: This story was a fun one. So glad, Prue noticed the ring at the end, otherwise, he'd be fired. ES: Yup, you're absolutely right about that. PVILLE: And here, he still doesn't know the secret. ES: Nope. One of the things we had to change to make this fit this spot. PVILLE: I keep thinking of the Guardian, I still don't like her, she seems like a bad guy, not neutral to me as she claims. ES: I truly can't think of any character on Classic Charmed who was truly neutral. We TRIED to make our THEM but it's up to you guys to decide if we succeeded.
ES: Nope, like I said earlier, this is the reason why this one is placed here. I'm afraid I gave you a guys a bad hint earlier, since it doesn't fit this episode (I think...I'd have to check the canon one...) but I swear is will fit some of the coming ones. --------- PVILLE: I do like this ending with the sisters, its one I enjoyed for the sisterly parts. But otherwise, I still don't like this one too much, but it not the worse of S1.
ES: Well, we liked it done in production order a lot more than canon; it seemed to fit better, but you're right - it wasn't among our favorite. Hopefully you like our version better - I sure do!

Next week, both groups are going to re-watch "The Women of Charmed" special and then starting next week, we're going to re-read our Season Two "press releases" and see if there's anything that needs fixing. Since Saturday's group has 22 episodes done while my Sunday's only has 20 (a bunch we skipped due to the triangle while Saturday figured out how to use their extra half-sister to get around it), we're going to start with theirs in hopes we can use some of their ideas to get our missing two episode. I can't wait!

Another CCDOW episode that appears earlier than the actual canon one.
Piper isn't going to Hawaii this time. Of course the reason that happened is that Holly had surgery and needed time off.
Pretty much the same as the canon episode, except that Prue is present.
You lot made the same mistake that the canon episode did. No prisoners at Alcatraz were executed.
In the canon series, Roger was just a cheating slimeball. You've upgraded him to a real villain.
After Holly had her surgery, both Shannen and Alyssa went to visit her (this was when they were still all friends). Did that inspire this scene?
Nice scene involving a character that didn't yet exist on the canon show (Sheila).
Did the Soul Hunter grab Ward, like she did in the canon episode?
Nice to see justice done.
You lot have these sister moments down good.

CARINA: Me too, I can't wait to read it after I catch up here with comments. -------------------------- ES: I can't wait until you guys find out - especially if you figure it out before I reveal it! CARINA: Me too Es. I'm looking forward to it. ES: CARINA:
ES: So? What do you think? CARINA: I liked that you kept the ending, I liked that sisterly one. I also don't mind the Shelly and Doug story. ES: CARINA: ------------- CARINA: Yes, like canon, Claire becomes Prue's new boss, but difference is at the Museum, after Roger is gone. ES: Yup. None of us wanted to include Rex and/or Hannah (especially her!). But in case you wonder, no, Buckland Museum has nothing to do with why we put this in a different spot. CARINA: Thanks, I can knock that off my list of reasons why you put this in a different spot then. ES: Hehehehe! CARINA: -------------- CARINA: I look forward to seeing why this one got placed earlier, and I have faith my CCDOW Team have done it for a great reason.
ES: Actually Saturday's group finished it last night (they did not like 'Beware What You Witch For' AT ALL!) and we'll finish it tonight. CARINA: How cool. I'm so glad you guys are watching that special, that should be fun, and a nice way to close out your S2 re-watch officially. That's so cool, you guys are going to re-read them all, as it will help you with fixing. I sure hope you guys, can figure it out. It must help Saturday with the extra half-sister, you also get to get rid of the horrible B plots too.

ES: Here's tonight's episode. LOL! Gotta admit that this one is in this spot for the same reason as the previous one. Prue and Phoebe feel like Early S1, not Late S1. CARINA: I can't wait. CARINA: I like this change that Piper is busy with a big Quake event. Since Holly doesn't have surgery, you guys having it earlier, you don't need to do that. CARINA: I love it already, especially Prue coming along with Phoebe. I also love it, because I just hated Kern's writing with some of his lines he gave Phoebe, and she didn't do her checklist and went off. Also a difference here, Darryl doesn't know, of course, this is earlier, but love that Peyton is with him. CARINA: And, I always love when Phoebe researches. It's my favorite thing she does in the earlier seasons. CARINA: I love this part, and Phoebe teasing him, but Darryl changes the subject. CARINA: I remember how freaky that scene was with his death. Yes, Prue don't believe that jerk. I love that he got upgraded to pure bad guy. CARINA: I also love them doing their own research at the same time as the Halliwells. CARINA: I like this so much. What a time for them to fight and get that call, and run to see Piper with her broken leg. And a sweet sisterly moment. CARINA: I love this friendship scene with Sheila and Piper, so sweet. CARINA: I love Phoebe saving Prue, but it made sense given where it is placed. I love that line, if the ghost is toast. CARINA: I'm so glad he got what's coming to him. I'd love to see his face, when he is caught, priceless.

CARINA: Great sisterly ending.

Closer, Tim, but still not quite.

phoebeville Carina Deidre Warren ES: It's Sunday and time for another episode! But first I want to reply to the reviews of last week. (Naturally doesn't include replying to Tim since he's yet to figure out how to post a proper message board review!
ES: Happy Easter, everyone! Even though I'm sure it's an unusual one, I hope it was still a good one for you. Since it's Sunday and PVille replied to Episode 3, here's Episode 4. I'm sure you'll notice that this one is "aired" earlier than it was in canon. We did that quite a bit for a very special reason, but one you'll have to figure that part out later... PVILLE: I did Es, and I see everyone else did too. ES: Yup, you and Carina both did. Pheebs even popped in which was very nice! PVILLE: So nice isn't it. PVILLE: I take it this is the canon tagline. ES: Yup! PVILLE:
PVILLE: Interesting spot to have it come this early in the season. But, with the tension between Prue and Phoebe in the season as they grow closer, I like that it is this soon.
ES: Good job, that's actually the reason why this one is posted so early. The canon one was written by Kern and this seems to be how he saw the sisters. We did in early S1, but not later.
OOPS! My bad! There's another reason besides this one that some of these are posted earlier than canon. Maybe some of the other episodes will hep you guys figure it out.
PVILLE: Fits so much better here.
I hope they will help me out Es figure it out. PVILLE: Here is Claire, and the old owner vanishes. Roger sure left so much trouble. But, I like that it is him, and he is just a regular human doing criminal things. ES: We did, too. Our favorite "villains" were the non-magical ones. PVILLE: I'm so glad, because I felt the same. I wished they had more. I get the show would get boring, if they had just non-magical ones, but I'd prefer a good balance. If Demons were more minor in the grand scheme of things, and warlocks were the ones used the most with non-magical ones, it would ground the show a little, or it would be less Buffy or Supernatural. Why, I'm enjoying EC so much. PVILLE: This story was a fun one. So glad, Prue noticed the ring at the end, otherwise, he'd be fired. ES: Yup, you're absolutely right about that. PVILLE: PVILLE: And here, he still doesn't know the secret. ES: Nope. One of the things we had to change to make this fit this spot. PVILLE: That makes sense. And Andy didn't play much of a big part in the canon one, only in two scenes, so easy to change for you guys. PVILLE: Me either, I can't remember any. I'll have to see as I keep reading.
ES: Nope, like I said earlier, this is the reason why this one is placed here. I'm afraid I gave you a guys a bad hint earlier, since it doesn't fit this episode (I think...I'd have to check the canon one...) but I swear is will fit some of the coming ones. PVILE: I see, that's okay.
PVILLE: That's interesting, nice when you can watch it in that order. How has you watching in production order gone so far with Season One and Two. I know Morality Bites was always in the wrong order from what I read, and I think P3 H20 came earlier too. I do like this one better.

ES: Here's tonight's episode. LOL! Gotta admit that this one is in this spot for the same reason as the previous one. Prue and Phoebe feel like Early S1, not Late S1. PVILLE: I can't wait. PVILLE: I like this tagline, but again nice to see the canon ones used here. No need to send her off to Hawaii. I do like this change, that it will keep your Piper busy. PVILLE: I really do like that Prue is going with Phoebe. Nothing worse than Kern writing Phoebe the way he did in this one, and Prue. PVILLE: I'm so glad, that here, Prue came along with Phoebe, getting to avoid the scene I hated that Kern wrote. I liked the rules of ghosts in this one, that a ghost needed a dead body to transport them across water. I forgot about that from canon. PVILLE: Already fits well here, and you did so well making Darryl still not knowing the secret, and I can so see Phoebe asking Darryl that question, before he changes the subject. PVILLE: I just love Roger being the bad guy of embezzling from the Museum. Nice to be able to hate a non-magical bad guy for a change. PVILLE: I'm really liking this partnership, since in canon, I can't remember if Darryl was in it like your Peyton is with Darryl. PVILLE: What a time to have them get the phone call. You guys so rocked this scene, I hate it, but it fits so well in early S1, I loved them getting the phone call right at that moment. I love Piper asking if everything is okay between them, and they them try to get out of it. PVILLE: I'm really loving Sheila as their friend, I love her coming here, and love her getting onto them acting strange lately, just like Darryl. PVILLE: Phoebe fit so well here, of course, she'd be used because Darryl doesn't know the secret. PVILLE: Bye Bye Roger. PVILLE: I always loved this sisterly ending. Which didn't change much apart from Piper coming from the hospital. Quick question Es, and you don't have to answer as spoilers, but it was on my mind. I'm wondering what Saturday group did with this, and if one sister did go away on a trip or something, leaving three behind, could even be Peyton, don't know why I'm thinking her. Although, Piper leaving poor Peyton to deal with Prue and Phoebe at each others throats would be a headache for Peyton.

I agree, it made much more sense for Prue to go, rather than the token friends of Phoebe who were never heard of before this episode, nor heard from again after it.

I love CCDOW, for making Sheila their closest female friend and she gets to play this role moving forward. I also love that they let Darryl play Andy's role here. In a sense, both Sheila and Darryl are their closest friends, which just adds to the story.
Nothing more annoying, than showing a friend who disappears and is never heard from again.

What's worse is that, it seemed that as the series went on, the sisters had no friends (aside from Darryl).
So it was pretty jarring to see all those people at their "memorial" in Still Charmed And Kicking.
A former Cafe poster called P3Nathan (who posted these very funny recaps) got it right when he said that those people were probably paid by Victor to show up and look sad.

ES: It's Sunday, and unlike previous weeks, I don't have any press releases to edit. That's because we're not going to include 'Beware What You Witch For' (except for the parts that were used in ShiningAllure's "The Death of Prue Halliwell" - which we re-watched when we were done, none of us liked anything in that episode - Prue's death prevented us from giving it Ds or Fs - we all gave it a C-) and last night Saturday's group watched 'The Women of Charmed', which, of course, we're not going to use, although Pheebs is talking about doing press releases based on it - it will be fun for her to try to include Jocelyn Seagrave who plays the half-sister in Saturday's and Sandra Prsoper who plays Sheila in ours - so I hope she does. But she hasn't yet, so that means I don't have anything to edit, so instead I have time to not only share the next S1 episode, but also to reply. phoebeville Carina Deidre Warren ES: Happy Easter, everyone! CARINA: HAPPY EASTER! It sure was, but at the same time my first without my dad. ES: I was thinking of you, Carina, wondering how your first Easter without your dad was going. CARINA: Thank you Es. ES: CARINA: ----------------------------- CARINA: But, I did enjoy coloring Easter Eggs with my mom, we made that our little project all last week, why I hadn't been on much. ES: OOOO, that sounds good! CARINA: Thanks Es, It was very nice. ES: ------------ CARINA: That's an interesting point you brought up about it being on January 25th than December 25th. I do recall the same thing, with Jesus being born in April not December. I'd still love to know how it feels like to have a warm Christmas like those on the other side of the world. I tend to forget that, as all I know is Christmas like it is in the cold weather. ES: I remember the Charmed Family talking about that - but they're used to Christmas without snow and summer with it. Since Granny Charmed originally lived in America (I don't remember where her daughter and granddaughter were born), she remembers white Christmases and likes watching Christmas movies with snow. CARINA: That's so cool that she can remember both. ES: Yup, I think so, too. ------------------------------- CARINA: I'm lookiing forward to finding out the special reason why this one is moved earlier. ES: Well, if you read my reply to PVille, you'll know what the reason for this one was, but that' not the one I was thinking of. My bad! CARINA: That's okay Es.
