Well, this is the thread to talk about this.
I haven't seen people this scared since the 1980's, when AIDS first reared its ugly head, and for the same reason. This is new, they don't understand it, and the Media is part of the problem, not the solution.
And don't even get me started on Trump's address last night, which was a joke.
One thing to know is that most people that get this will recover. They will be miserable for about two weeks, but they will get through this.
It's those with pre-existing medical conditions (asthma, emphysema, etc) and the elderly who are the more vulnerable, since their immune systems are weaker. However, even they can make it, if proper precautions are taken.
This is not the end of the world, civilization is not gonna collapse. Things are gonna be different for a while (sports being cancelled and such), but that's all.

I get public events especially and large crowds cancelling events.
But people stocking up on toilet paper has become insane. So glad supermarkets at least had to in force a one pack per person policy for a while.
Although I've recovered from being sick. I'm trying to build up my immune system just to be on the safe side. Even though the much older are worse off.
But on a positive note. I read a story aboyt a 105 year old man who caught the virus and recovered in 4 days. So I personally think having a weak immune system, suffering from athma, diabetics any Respiratory problems are the ones who are at risk. Regardless of age.

Yeah, looks like most shows are now going to have their seasons ended sooner, and or we'll have a much longer hiatus for some, which is understandable.

Yes, a few cases of people elderly have survived. So, I really do think most of the media needs to share the positive stories of people recovering, not always sharing all the deaths and how many die. www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2020/03/103-year-old-chinese-woman-becomes-oldest-person-to-survive-coronavirus.htmlCoronavirus: Elderly people ‘not a goner’ and great majority will recover from disease, UK medical chief saysSo I guess, if you don't suffer from asthma or diabetes, you'll likely recover. Whatever age you are. Those with those conditions should watch out. Carina your right I think having a strong immune system helps. I'm sure we'd all like to live to be as old as Betty White, who is almost 100. And suffering from asthma or diabetics those people are most at risk, sadly. Carina, keep at it with building your immune system, especially after recovering from being sick.

I hope you can help build up your immune system in no time, after being sick. www.docsaxena.com/blog/six-ways-to-boost-your-immune-system-to-fight-corona-virusBut, most of this is pretty common sense really. But, we all should consider doing this in general life.

Christmas in 2020. It's clear that the guy and kid are not there at the same time as all the others.
