Chapter Twenty – The Search Chris found himself in a dark house, and not just in lighting, but in decoration. The walls were painted the color of wet blood; the floors were carpeted in a brown reminiscent of dried blood. He wrinkled his nose as a strong metallic smell met him on entering a long hallway. He started to turn a knob, but stopped. He closed his eyes and focused on turning invisible. When his eyes reopened he had to trust that it worked for he could still see himself. For whatever reason, his eyes seemed to adjust to see him and anything else invisible. He turned the knob and looked inside. Seeing no one he turned off his invisibility and looked around. He opened a closet and grimaced as it squeaked. Finding no sign of the little girl he shut it again and exited. He checked three more rooms, one of which turned out to be a bathroom, before he found a locked door. He debated, but quickly decided to ignore the lock. Chris focused on turning invisible again and then he orbed out of the hall.
When Chris reappeared in the bedroom on the other side of the door all that was visible of him was blue and white orbs. He looked around the dark room and saw nothing. He felt along the wall near the door and flicked on the light. As his eyes adjusted to the light he scanned the room. He stopped on the bed where blankets partially covered a sleeping Ashlyn. Chris had only taken a few steps forward when Vera blinked in. She looked at him as she stepped between him and the little girl. “I wondered why your brother was alone.” Chris gulped, but forced himself to ignore the implications of that statement. He tried to find a way around Vera but even if he orbed over there he figured she’d react with deadly force by the time he reappeared. “Mini me said he had to save Wyatt,” Chris commented as he handed off his miniature version to his grandfather.
Victor looked at both versions of his younger grandson perplexed. “He said all that?”
“Not in those words, but enough,” Chris returned. “What did he / I mean?”
“I asked him to use his powers and find his brothers,” Victor told him. “And that’s what he did.”
“I orbed him here?”
Victor nodded. “I was very proud of you.”
Chris grinned. “Thanks, Grandpa. I intend to make you even more proud of me in years to come.”
And this is one of those times to make him proud of me, Chris grinned as a plan formed in his mind. Vera’s eyes narrowed. “What are you planning?” Chris crossed his arms in front of him. “I’m just trying to figure out how to get back Ashlyn.” The last word was emphasized and filled with magical command as blue-white orbs surrounded Ashlyn and she disappeared into his arms. Vera didn’t bother talking. She pulled out a knife and threw it at Chris. Chris gulped, but stood still as Ashlyn appeared into his arms. As soon as she was there he orbed them both out, the knife passing through where they had been less than a second later. Vera swore as the knife hit the door to the hall. “Bianca!”

I knew he could move things like Prue, but we never really saw him move things with the telekinetic orbing like Paige. I figured he could being part white lighter and witch like Paige. Yeah that flashback was from forever Charmed. Can't wait to see how the rest of this story pans out though.

First, the flashback. It takes place during "Forever Charmed", but it is not a scene from the episode. We saw adult Wyatt and Chris going into see their little versions, but we didn't see them again before they returned to the sisters. This scene is supposed to take place after they have talked to little Wyatt and little Chris.
In Kill Billie, Vol. 2 and I think only that we saw Chris use teleorbing. He never used it as an adult, only as a toddler in that episode. According to Wyatt he used it to change the Candyland card. I don't know, but it did seem likely that Wyatt was telling the truth. He definitely used it to orb the powerless Wyatt back from the school after Billie and Christy stole Wyatt's powers. Wyatt couldn't have orbed himself back, so Chris did. Victor told Chris to find his brother and he did, orbing him to the apartment without ever leaving the room.

Glad you liked my idea there. It made sense to have him do that here considering what happens in the next episode. In this episode he has a few seconds to think, not many, but some. In the next one, he has no time to think, just react and you don't react by doing something you have never done before, not normally anyway.

Thank you. I was hoping to find one actually from "Forever Charmed", but it wasn't there, so I just made one to fit in with what actually was there.

I'm a bit confused. I understand that the flashbacks was from Forever Charmed, but in your series Chris and Wyatt didn't go back to the past yet, did they?

I'm a bit confused. I understand that the flashbacks was from Forever Charmed, but in your series Chris and Wyatt didn't go back to the past yet, did they? Whoops! You are completely right. He shouldn't remember that, unless he's getting it somehow from his little version which is stretching it. Unfortunately since I did make that mistake, it's the best I have, so it's what I am going to have to go with. Thanks for catching that even if it's been a while since I wrote it.
