The walls were covered with green gunk left over from a battle with a particularily nasty demon, who had a knack for stealing powerful magical children from their beds at the stroke of midnight. Wyatt was looking at Chris as his younger brother tried to reach for the Book of Shadows, failing miserably because the book was magically moving away. Wyatt guessed it was because Chris was covered in gunk that tended to leave an unpleasant and anti-magical block. Because of this the brothers had to find some other way to get to a spell that freed the children before they ran out of time.
It had been two days since they had started a new type of tracking system for finding demon, but so far it just was proving useless in finding powerful demons or missing magical objects or people such as the Lady of the Lake, a personal friend of the newest leader of fairy world. They had talked to Magical Repairman of every single ruptured piece of the drainage system that took the old house on Main Street. He was not very forthcoming with how to locate someone who missing or evil.
It frustrated the brothers to no end that they did not know where to look for the magical kidnapper they were looking for. The time was slipping away from them. They needed to the children in less than three hours or the kids were going to disappear forever. It had been hours since they had learned anything new. Chris was getting a headache, and Wyatt was begining to lose his cool. Then Wyatt spotted a dot on the Book of Shadows. It was red.
Not sure what it was, Wyatt took a paper and put it against the dot. The dot grew until it was as big as Wyatt's fist and turned purple as the astounded brothers looked on. Something strange was occuring. A human shape began to form out of the dot on the piece of paper. Wyatt looked at as it began to wiggle and jump off the page, alarming the brother. "Follow me," the voice startled, "And you will learn what you have been wanting, but first you have to find a couple of more of these dots and my form will show you something you have been looking for, something that will save them from the death that waits for them if you find me." The dot figure gave a final jump and began fading back into the Book before the brother's eyes. They looked at each for a moment and tried to figure out what to do next. "Should we trust what he said? And where would we find a dot in all the books around here? And is it even possible?" Chris said as he flipped through the book. He stopped as something from the truck parked across the street flashed. There seemed to be a dot in growing into a ball that just kept growing inside the truck.
"It's going to revival magic!" Wyatt exclaimed as he saw the driver slowly be engolfed by the ball. "We have to..." He stopped because the speed of

"We have to..." He stopped because the speed of growth was growing at alarming rates. The odd thing was the driver didn't seen to notice anything was there, and so he was just walking out the truck door preparing unload the boxes he'd packed for the old couple moving to be with their son and his young wife. They watched as the dot started to get closer to the brothers. "Maybe they are going to come to us,"
