I see you made this a two-parter, even though the canon episode was only one.
Of course, there are additional characters here (Sheila and Peyton) that didn't exist in the canon episode, and you have devoted much time to them, so they are important here as well.
Nice that you referred the events of the preceding episode in regards to what happened to the sisters. Of course, the Mark thing was a major event.
Once again, Darryl takes Andy's place. Hope he doesn't meet the same fate.

I've got a bunch of Real-Life stuff I have to do this afternoon before tonight's re-read, so I'm just going to give you tonight's episode. But phoebeville , I'm VERY happy that you like what we did with "Leo". Just notice that Mark's gone - and no saying when/if he'll be back... PVILLE: That's alright Es. I sure did, and I'll have to keep in mind and wonder if or when he'll ever return. ES: Here's tonight's episode, the first of our two-part season finale: PVILLE: I LOVE this opening scene. Perfect way to end the season, while keeping some continuity with the last episode, and a reflection of the year, I sure hope they take that trip when this season is over. Them going to Cabo San Lucas for their summer trip, reminds me of the Charmed novels where they went to New Orleans for their vacation, or to England in The Legacy of Merlins for their summer trips. PVILLE: So sisterly. Smiling at all of these parts. PVILLE: Now, I'm so glad you changed the scenes around, don't like this being the opening scene, rather your version with this second. I noticed no hint or mention of the Source, who was reference as a he in the canon one. PVILLE: A horrible premonition to get. PVILLE: Oh, do I hate Rodriguez. PVILLE: So glad Peyton knows here, the canon parts made me so upset that Darryl was in the dark. So proud of Peyton for not saying anything either. Because who knows, what you'd do with her knowing the secret from Darryl. PVILLE: Hate Joanna. But, I've meet plenty people like her in my life. PVILLE: So glad Sheila and the kids are okay. PVILE: I remember seeing that, and even reading that Phoebe died shocked me. You sure knew, the first time I watched, I freaked out. PVILLE: I sure loved the picking up on the differences with the day repeating, and love Phoebe's power being the most important part of this episode. PVILLE: Much meaner, and more annoying. PVILE: No such luck for now. PVILLE: These Prue and Darryl scenes really get to me.

PVILLE: And the first time around I was so shocked, and Shannen killed me with her acting for this scene. What a great spot to end part 1 with this cliffhanger. I truly think that sets up Part 2 and the finale so well. I have no idea what will happen, and what changes you'll make in the finale.

I loved what they did with Sheila and Peyton, wasn't it so great. So nice to see more female characters on CCDOW, when the canon series barely had none apart from the sisters themselves. Especially with Sheila being a female friend of the sisters, and who I love so much more than the random friends who come and go. I loved the way they set up this finale. We shall have to wait and see with the finale.

Yeah, the only female character, aside from the sisters themselves, that appeared in the canon episodes was Piper's old classmate, Joanne Hertz. And Joanne was so two-dimensional that you could slide her under a door.

PVILLE: I LOVE this opening scene. Perfect way to end the season, while keeping some continuity with the last episode, and a reflection of the year, I sure hope they take that trip when this season is over. ES: Now I really wish we had included that trip in our S2 premiere, but I'll admit that we didn't. -------------- PVILLE: Them going to Cabo San Lucas for their summer trip, reminds me of the Charmed novels where they went to New Orleans for their vacation, or to England in The Legacy of Merlins for their summer trips. ES: The fun of books (and virtual series), you don't have to pay for those trips to other locations. PVILLE: So sisterly. Smiling at all of these parts. ES: It sure made me smile the first time I watched it! PVILLE: Now, I'm so glad you changed the scenes around, don't like this being the opening scene, rather your version with this second. ES: That's been our battleplan - switch scenes so the beginning and ending are sisterly as much as possible. That's going to be hard going into S3 which is so much more episodic than S1 and S2 are, but we are sure going to try! --------------- PVILLE: I noticed no hint or mention of the Source, who was reference as a he in the canon one. ES: Nope. We're still deciding what exactly we want to do with him. Part of the fun of not including Rex and Hannah - there's been NO reference to the Source in our first season. If we were going to include them, Rex would be the Source with Hannah as his Seer, but that's not one of our plans since we do have plans that let Neil and Leigh-Allyn guest star - just not as Rex or Hannah and not in the same episode (maybe not even in the same season...) and only a single episode each. PVILLE: A horrible premonition to get. ES: Oh, man, wouldn't it be? Almost as bad as seeing Prue killed by Gabriel! PVILLE: Oh, do I hate Rodriguez. ES: Oh, yes! One demon (warlock here...) who I LOVE to hate - just like Rex. PVILLE: So glad Peyton knows here, the canon parts made me so upset that Darryl was in the dark. ES: It really does make sense to let the partner know the secret, just like letting the neighbor learn the family secret a lot sooner than he did! ---------------- PVILLE: So proud of Peyton for not saying anything either. Because who knows, what you'd do with her knowing the secret from Darryl. ES: Hehehehe! Oh, I admit we thought about her betraying the Charmed Ones, but decided against it. PVILLE: Hate Joanna. But, I've meet plenty people like her in my life. ES: You and me, both. Me, I just roll my eyes and ignore them - no way I'd let them humiliate me! But that's definitely both Canon Piper and our Piper. PVILLE: So glad Sheila and the kids are okay. ES: And that was one of our very few continuity errors that I didn't notice until I re-read it here - we've never mentioned any other kids for Darryl and Sheila besides Mikey. So that SHOULD be "Sheila and Mikey are okay". --------------- PVILE: I remember seeing that, and even reading that Phoebe died shocked me. You sure knew, the first time I watched, I freaked out. ES: You and me both! Like you reading this, the first time I watched the show, I had NO idea what was going to happen! I didn't know if the show had been renewed since I didn't have a PC until S5, so as far as I was concerned, they could've very easily killed all three sisters. PVILLE: I sure loved the picking up on the differences with the day repeating, and love Phoebe's power being the most important part of this episode. ES: That's probably what I love best about this episode. I SO wish her premonitions had remained important! But, of course, once demon-hunting and protecting the Twice-Blessed Brat was more important than protecting those innocent of the reality of magic, who needed premonitions? PVILLE: Much meaner, and more annoying. ES: Hehehehe! Definitely! And I hated him more each time! PVILE: No such luck for now. ES: I love it when they don't figure it out right away - just seems more realistic. PVILLE: These Prue and Darryl scenes really get to me. ES: I'm so glad. Including Sheila and Mikey just makes it more touching to me. PVILLE: And the first time around I was so shocked, and Shannen killed me with her acting for this scene. ES: Oh, man, did she ever! She's SOOOO good in emotional scenes! ------------- PVILLE: What a great spot to end part 1 with this cliffhanger. I truly think that sets up Part 2 and the finale so well. ES: YAY!! I'm glad you think so! ---------- PVILLE: I have no idea what will happen, and what changes you'll make in the finale. ES: Well, you'll know shortly! Hope you like how we end our Season One! Then I'll look forward to seeing what you think of how we ended "Elemental Charmed"!

Since it will be a while before you guys get the season premiere of Season Two, I decided to give you a treat, my own favorite CCDOW episode so far! NOW SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND! (Tim, please don't scan this - read this - or I'm sure you're going to be asking questions that would embarrass you later! If you ask any such dumb question, I won't answer.) THIS IS THE SEASON TWO FINALE OF SATURDAY'S VERSION, NOT OURS! We tried to adapt it to our Sunday version for our own finale, but for many reasons that won't come clear until after you read our Season Two, it just wouldn't. So anything that is different from ours is different because their version is so much different than ours! So, Tim, since all you like to do is look for differences, you'll probably just want to skip this. The only difference I will explain is GA. She's Penny's younger sister, Phoebe - Patty's favorite aunt. She and her husband Sam are the ones who adopted Peyton and raised her on the other side of the country where GA and Sam still live. This makes GA the Halliwell's Great-Aunt Phoebe. But to keep her separate from Phoebe, they just call her GA. GA likes it and so does Peyton. Even though she grew up calling this woman Mom, she now calls her GA, too. Not sure I would've done it that way, but it's the way Saturday's group did it. Okay, Carina and phoebeville, if you think reading something based on something so different than our version or the canon version would be too confusing, just don't "like" this post. If after a week neither of you "like" it, I'll just delete this post. Truly no big deal. But if either of you like the idea of reading an alternate-universe version of CCDOW that combines my two favorite S2 episodes: 'P3 H2O' and 'Morality Bites' - enjoy!! So? What do you think and does either of you want to read the second half? I don’t care if Tim does or doesn’t.

Wow, you lot actually did it, you killed Darryl! I know that he was more or less filling Andy's role in your reality, but I never thought you'd actually do this.
Mind you, that doesn't mean Darryl is gone for good. While Andy never reappeared on the canon show, it doesn't mean that Darryl won't here (as you don't have to worry about actor availability).
So, will Darryl return somehow? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

ES: And here it is, our Season One finale! PVILLE: Love that tagline, I'm guessing it's based on the real one. I do love that cliffhanger, Imagine me waiting the extra week after seeing Prue all alone, you can bet I'd be going into this if I was watching scared. PVILLE: Not sure you know this, but Brad Kern made a cameo as that neighbor. But, knowing you lot, you won't be wanting it to be him in a cameo. And it led to a great scene where Piper stood up for herself. PVILLE: Aww Prue and Darryl. PVILLE: Oh no, don't go into that house Darryl, I'm worried for you. PVILLE: OMG! No Darryl. PVILLE: PVILLE: I'm shocked Darryl got killed, didn't expect to see this. But, love that I feel even more for his death, knowing he left a wife and son behind. I remember when he faded away, it hit me hard watching when I cried. PVILLE: My heart is aching for Sheila and Mikey too. PVILLE: This reminds me, that in canon the sisters never faced the demon of time face to face. PVILLE: I love the extra bits with Peyton walking in, and joining in on the mourning. PVILLE: And I'm remembering the wonderful song they choice in my head for the canon parts. PVILLE: So proud of Piper, and especially love that Mark help inspire her to follow her dreams. I especially loved all of these parts. PVILLE: Good luck finding him, as Phoebe said.
PVILLE: Love this ending, and no manor door closing, I'm glad you are not playing by that rule. This was so much better with a tribute. ES: So? What do you think? PVILLE: I'm shocked Darryl got killed off, but then I remember you did so much with Sheila, so Darryl will live on through her, so I don't think we'll forget about him ever. A great finale, and I loved the last three episodes. What a fun ride this has been with S1, each week. Now I'll have to get back and finish EC.

So anything that is different from ours is different because their version is so much different than ours! So, Tim, since all you like to do is look for differences, you'll probably just want to skip this. PVILLE: This is exciting to see some of Saturday's version. Thank you Es, I'll keep that in mind that it is much more different than yours. -------------- ES: The only difference I will explain is GA. She's Penny's younger sister, Phoebe - Patty's favorite aunt. She and her husband Sam are the ones who adopted Peyton and raised her on the other side of the country where GA and Sam still live. Even though she grew up calling this woman Mom, she now calls her GA, too. Not sure I would've done it that way, but it's the way Saturday's group did it. PVILLE: I really like that Peyton got adopted by them, and raised on the other side of the country, much better than what they did with Paige living across town. I like that this fits with canon, since Patty did say in 70s she named Phoebe after her favorite aunt, now I get to have fun knowing that is her in Saturday's version. I can see why using the name GA was used to separate it from Phoebe. -------------- ES: Okay, Carina and phoebeville , if you think reading something based on something so different than our version or the canon version would be too confusing, just don't "like" this post. If after a week neither of you "like" it, I'll just delete this post. Truly no big deal. But if either of you like the idea of reading an alternate-universe version of CCDOW that combines my two favorite S2 episodes: 'P3 H2O' and 'Morality Bites' - enjoy!! PVILLE: I sure am looking forward to one that combines two episodes. PVILLE: Great title by the way. Seeing what episodes you combined, it fits well since the past, present and future are all connected I bet. I liked this teaser, sets up the story so well. PVILLE: Now I'm dying to know how the lake monster and Patty fit in with their trip to the future. PVILLE: So nice to see Piper happy with a boyfriend, who isn't Leo. Guessing Jeremy isn't a warlock in this one of course, but I'm already liking how they seem to be having a stable relationship. PVILLE: Oh yes, Peyton wouldn't know the full story. Nope, don't believe Prue, better to be find out the truth, even if it will hurt. PVILLE: Yes, Peyton didn't go to camp having already been adopted. Oh, Stan not Sam, but that makes sense since Sam is GA's husband. Better to not be confused. PVILLE: So proud of you lot, for letting Phoebe be the one who resembles her the most, not Piper. Going off 70s, they were dead set resemble each other, and not forgetting Alyssa played Patty in the video, so they had to have planned them to be the ones who looked alike. Thanks for fixing that. PVILLE: Stan killed Patty. I wonder if that is true, guess, I'll find out. PVILLE: No Peyton, I can see why she'd want to shimmer, If she didn't have that power, she'd the demon may have got her. PVILLE: Oh, great spot for Phoebe to see that future. PVILLE: Peyton is right, you got it for a reason, now they have to find out the answers. PVILLE: Here we go, can't wait to see this future. PVILLE: Prue has the daughter. PVILLE: I forgot this isn't Sunday's, had Sheila on my mind wondering why it wasn't her at the door. PVILLE: Oh yes, I do like Piper being the one who is a business woman. PVILLE: Oh I wonder if Piper has a husband, maybe Jeremy left her. Me too, who is the father of Prue's daughter? PVILLE: Oh, Pratt, makes me think of Trump for some reason. LOL PVILLE: Yes, so powerful Prue is 10 years later. PVILLE: Going to P4. PVILLE:Yes, what a difference. Still dying to find out if Jeremy and Piper were together, I still think he left her. Also who is Prue's ex? PVILLE: Here is Peyton, was wondering about her. I love the name for her daughter, so much better than Melinda. I like that it is Peyton telling them this not Leo. OMG, Andy is Prue's ex. PVILLE: Hurry. PVILLE: Can't help but think of Trump again with Pratt. PVILLE: Peyton didn't wake up here, but I do like them hearing it from a sister, and like how protective Peyton is of her niece. Feels more sisterly-centric, which I like. PVILLE: So Stan didn't kill Patty, just as I suspected. But, I like finding out who Phoebe killed. PVILLE: Yes, like she has the time for a husband. Oh Anne was just so annoying. PVILLE: I think Jeremy left Piper, after what she became, and isn't dead. PVILLE: I love that Peyton visits Phoebe. Better to hear it from a sister than Leo like canon. Really liking this story.
PVILLE: What a good spot to end part 1, already making me excited for part 2. ES: So? What do you think and does either of you want to read the second half? I don’t care if Tim does or doesn’t. PVILLE: I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the second half now.

This reminds me of a music video with charmed clips with the song.
I sadly couldn't find an Andy tribute video with this song with clips from season 1.

I'm afraid this has been another crazy weekend for me, PVille, so I'm not going to be able to respond to your reviews, even though I've read and enjoyed them - especially what you thought of Saturday's S2 finale.
But I figure since this will be the last time I post in this thread until we finish S2 (sometime in October since our S2 finale will combine an S2 episode with a couple of S3 ones...) and only if the pandemic is continuing (with the newer saliva-testing, America may be able to get it under control), that should give me plenty of time to reply to your reviews, especially because you're ALMOST done with EC - and hopefully Carina will get her new computer and be able to review, too.
BUT I had to give you Part Two of Saturday's S2 finale. ENJOY!!
So?? What do you think?
And the funny thing about all of this is that Sunday's group will be re-reading our version of 'P3 H2O' tonight, proof that it won't be combined with our 'Morality Bites'.

PVILLE: That's alright Es, whenever you have time, and as you said since this is the last one you'll share with us, you'll have all the time to catch up on commenting.
And, now I'll be able to catch up on EC now, and I hope Carina will have a new computer so she can too.
------ ES: BUT I had to give you Part Two of Saturday's S2 finale. ENJOY!!
PVILLE: I sure will.
PVILLE: Love that tagline.
And, I like this as the start, setting up them breaking her out, or will they, I'll never know with CCDOW, what direction it will go.
PVILLE: I really like Peyton, it feels so more more special to have another sister telling them this not Leo, as she'd know better than anybody what it is like being a witch.
OMG, when Piper froze Peyton, I jumped. That shocked me, but fits the story, with Piper and Prue and who their future selves are now.
PVILLE: Here is Andy.
Oh, this broke my heart, and am thinking of Prue from Secrets and Guys when she wanted to be a mother.
But, this fits so well, and so get Andy to leave, it fits his character to not be around them when they changed. Andy would make a great whitelighter.
PVILLE: I'm so glad I'm reading this not watching, as a big production mistake occured here with the door they made, it was big when they drew the lines, but tiny when they went in. But, in a story, those things are not an issue of course.
But, what if they can never go home, that Piper said, wasn't I scared, they'd be stuck here the first time.
PVILLE: Tissues in handy, for this amazing sceen, I love it, and still love it here. Best part not having to watch Phoebe burn, only read it.
I love Phoebe in this scene, and so going to look forward and hope you guys make sure they don't forget the lesson learned in this one.
Loved this so much, and how it ties in with P3 H20. So perfect, and love Phoebe telling her sisters that Stanley Widler didn't kill their mom, and how touching, that it all connects to the past and present, which is what this two-parter is all about.
PVILLE: Peyton really would be confused, and oh, I hope Phoebe is okay. PVILLE: I'm in relief too, but why would I think Phoebe would not come back, but with CCDOW you never know. Peyton didn't go with them, guess she didn't need to learn the lesson.
PVILLE: Now time to get that water demon.
PVILLE: What a scary thing to witness with Patty's death, poor Phoebe. PVILLE: Go face your demons. PVILLE: This really was full circle. I was so moved by this in this combo. I noticed that Patty waves at them, and they see her. This fits, as always the sisters saw ghosts, why shouldn't they see her now. PVILLE: So glad they saved Stan, who saved them. What a great story, but now I'm worried for Peyton and why she wasn't with them. PVILE: So glad you guys fixed that, as the canon episode sure didn't explain why the events happened differently. So fits your story that saving Stan and stopping the water demon changed things. PVILE: Always smile with this speech.
ES: So?? What do you think?
PVILLE: Really loved this, and what a wonderful two-part finale, it all fits nicely as a great end to a season. I really wished the canon show did a combo like this. I think I like this more than the canon ones, because it really was combined so very well. So enjoyed reading it.
------------------------
ES: And the funny thing about all of this is that Sunday's group will be re-reading our version of 'P3 H2O' tonight, proof that it won't be combined with our 'Morality Bites'.

The canon show didn't have 20 years of fan love behind it. It was that love that inspired this lot to create this storyline.

*sigh* And yet another crazy weekend for me, so I'm not going to be able to do any responding. Sorry about that, PVille, but I hope this will give you a chance to read and respond to the rest of EC.
Next week sounds quiet right now, so if I'll for sure reply to your reviews next weekend. I HAVE read them and just so very happy that you like Saturday's S2 Season Finale - right now my favorite of all of the CCDOW episodes, although our 'P3 H20' turned out pretty good, too...we came up with a much-better backstory for Patty and Sam...she didn't have an affair while married to Victor but knew she and Sam graduated from high school and got engaged...but he died and They separated and it was after that that she met Victor...
DEFINITELY like that better than canon! Add this to Saturday's and you'd get one heckovan episode!

ES: YAY! I FINALLY have a Sunday where I don't have anything planned until our re-read tonight, so I FINALLY get to reply to your reviews, PVIlle when I don't have to hurry them. Here you go: ES: And here it is, our Season One finale! PVILLE: Love that tagline! I'm guessing it's based on the real one. ES: Yup, most of our taglines are based on the actual ones - why reinvent the wheel? ------------- PVILLE: I do love that cliffhanger! Imagine me waiting the extra week after seeing Prue all alone...you can bet I'd be going into this if I was watching scared. ES: Oh, you and me both! I'm glad that I didn't like any of the canon two-part finales so I didn't have to go nuts wondering what was going to happen. PVILLE: Not sure you know this, but Brad Kern made a cameo as that neighbor. But, knowing you lot, you won't be wanting it to be him in a cameo. ES: Nope, I didn't know that, and you better believe we won't change our version and give him credit! Too bad that Connie didn't get a cameo! ---------- PVILLE: And it led to a great scene where Piper stood up for herself. ES: I LOVE that Piper! Had she been more like that in Canon S4-8 rather than Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper, I'd like those seasons a lot more than I do. PVILLE: Aww Prue and Darryl. ES: PVILLE: Oh, no! Don't go into that house, Darryl! I'm worried for you. ES: And as you now know, just like we were worried about Andy, you were right to be worried about Darryl. But (slight teaser/spoiler), our credits for Season Two would've been "Starring Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano. With Sandra Prosper and Jocelyn Seagreve" so you KNOW that unlike Andy, Darryl will NOT be forgotten! PVILLE: OMG! No Darryl. ES: Yup. We battled and battled it, but agreed that if Darryl was taking Andy's place, this had to happen. PVILLE: ES: PVILLE: I'm shocked Darryl got killed, didn't expect to see this. But, love that I feel even more for his death, knowing he left a wife and son behind. ES: That's what we thought. Much as Andy's death hurt, we hoped this would hurt more even if Darryl wasn't matched with any of the sisters. -------------- TMC: I remember when Andy faded away, it hit me hard watching when I cried. ES: So did I since it verified that he was truly dead. PVILLE: My heart is aching for Sheila and Mikey too. ES: PVILLE: This reminds me, that in canon the sisters never faced the demon of time face to face. ES: Oops, our bad because they didn't here either; we just didn't do a good job making it clear. PVILLE: I love the extra bits with Peyton walking in, and joining in on the mourning. ES: We didn't like that Darryl wasn't able to be part of what happened to Andy, so we made sure Peyton had a chance. PVILLE: And I'm remembering the wonderful song they choice in my head for the canon parts. ES: *nods* "Calling All Angels" - such a perfect song! PVILLE: So proud of Piper, and especially love that Mark help inspire her to follow her dreams. I especially loved all of these parts. ES: SOOO glad that you do!! PVILLE: Good luck finding him, as Phoebe said. ES: Hehehehehe! PVILLE: Love this ending, and no manor door closing, I'm glad you are not playing by that rule. This was so much better with a tribute. ES: Again so very happy that you think so! ------------ ES: So? What do you think? PVILLE: I'm shocked Darryl got killed off, but then I remember you did so much with Sheila, so Darryl will live on through her, so I don't think we'll forget about him ever. ES: And as I said earlier, you're absolutely right about that! --------------- PVILLE: A great finale, and I loved the last three episodes. What a fun ride this has been with S1, each week. Now I'll have to get back and finish EC. [ ES: So very glad you enjoyed it that much and even more glad that you're going back and finishing EC!

Since it will be a while before you guys get the season premiere of Season Two, I decided to give you a treat, my own favorite CCDOW episode so far! PVILLE: I do love treats. I'm looking forward to this. ES: Oh, I *SO* hope it doesn't confuse you and that you love it as much as I do! ------------------ ES: NOW SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND! THIS IS THE SEASON TWO FINALE OF SATURDAY'S VERSION, NOT OURS! We tried to adapt it to our Sunday version for our own finale, but for many reasons that won't come clear until after you read our Season Two, it just wouldn't. So anything that is different from ours is different because their version is so much different than ours! PVILLE: This is exciting to see some of Saturday's version. Thank you Es, I'll keep that in mind that it is much more different than yours. ES: Thank you, PVille! -------------- ES: The only difference I will explain is GA. She's Penny's younger sister, Phoebe - Patty's favorite aunt. She and her husband Sam are the ones who adopted Peyton and raised her on the other side of the country where GA and Sam still live. PVILLE: I really like that Peyton got adopted by them, and raised on the other side of the country, much better than what they did with Paige living across town. ES: And I like that Patty gave her daughter to her favorite aunt and didn't drop her off at a church! ----------- PVILLE: I like that this fits with canon, since Patty did say in 70s she named Phoebe after her favorite aunt, now I get to have fun knowing that is her in Saturday's version. ES: Yup, that's how they came up with GA's name. ---------------- PVILLE: I can see why using the name GA was used to separate it from Phoebe. ES: -------------- ES: Okay, Carina and phoebeville , if you think reading something based on something so different than our version or the canon version would be too confusing, just don't "like" this post. ES: PVILLE: Great title by the way. Seeing what episodes you combined, it fits well since the past, present and future are all connected I bet. ES: That's another difference between our version and theirs. Since we stuck close to canon, we kept the canon titles. Since they didn't, they came up with their own and did a FANTASTIC job doing that! --------- PVILLE: I liked this teaser, sets up the story so well. ES: Glad yu think so! PVILLE: Now I'm dying to know how the lake monster and Patty fit in with their trip to the future. ES: Hehehehe! Just keep reading! I LOVE how they did that! PVILLE: So nice to see Piper happy with a boyfriend, who isn't Leo. Guessing Jeremy isn't a warlock in this one of course, but I'm already liking how they seem to be having a stable relationship. ES: Yup. In their version, it's Peyton's boyfriend SHANE who is the warlock! I love their Piper who had a non-magical boyfriend and is never part of a triangle! PVILLE: Oh yes, Peyton wouldn't know the full story. Nope, don't believe Prue, better to be find out the truth, even if it will hurt. ES: Both, exactly so. The Halliwells don't meet Peyton until after Grams dies in their series premiere. We all liked how Summer Reading did that in her rewrite. PVILLE: Yes, Peyton didn't go to camp having already been adopted. Oh, Stan not Sam, but that makes sense since Sam is GA's husband. Better to not be confused. ES: *nods* Again exactly so. I think they named Great-Uncle Sam after Sam Wilder (he became Sam Matthews) and then had to find a different name for him for this episode. ES: No, I think originally "Mom" (never called by a name, just like "Grams") was never supposed to be shown, again just like Grams, the reason a different actress played Patty in "From Fear to Eternity'. It just happened that Finola looked more like Alyssa, but, oh, do we agree with you that they do! SOOOO glad my favorite Charmed writer, Sheryl J. Anderson, changed tht for 'That 70s Episode', even if she messed it up by making Patty Patty Halliwell when they'd already used the credits to show that it was Victor who was a Halliwell, not Patty or Penny. PVILLE: Stan killed Patty. I wonder if that is true, guess I'll find out. ES: And now you know how they could combine my two favorite episodes! PVILLE: No Peyton, I can see why she'd want to shimmer, If she didn't have that power, the demon may have got her. ES: That's why they chose her to be there first. PVILLE: Oh, great spot for Phoebe to see that future. ES: No baseball player in this version! PVILLE: Peyton is right, you got it for a reason, now they have to find out the answers. ES: Yup. PVILLE: Here we go, can't wait to see this future. ES: And I can't wait to see what you think of it!! PVILLE: Prue has the daughter. ES: Yup. They think it fits her better than it fit Piper. PVILLE: I forgot this isn't Sunday's, had Sheila on my mind wondering why it wasn't her at the door. ES: Well, if these sisters had turned evil like the canon ones did, I don't think Sheila would've had much to do with them! ----------- TMC: But seeing Prue as the mother, I like it. Can't wait to see who the father is as I keep reading. ES: Me, too! PVILLE: Oh yes, I do like Piper being the one who is a business woman. ES: Oh, I agree totally; it just fits her so much more! And note that it's P4, not P3! PVILLE: Oh I wonder if Piper has a husband, maybe Jeremy left her. ES: Actually we never find out. I think he left her after she became evil. ----------- PVILLE: Me too, who is the father of Prue's daughter? ES: You'll have to keep reading! PVILLE: Oh, Pratt, makes me think of Trump for some reason. LOL ES: Hehehehe! Do you know that everyone who has read this thinks that??!! PVILLE: Yes, so powerful Prue is 10 years later. ES: Part of the sadness that Canon Prue never got a chance to haver her power grow into that. I'm wondering if Saturday's Prue will... I'm not going to say anything about ours... --------------- PVILLE: Going to P4. ES: Yup. PVILLE:Yes, what a difference. Still dying to find out if Jeremy and Piper were together, I still think he left her. ES: And as I said earlier, we never do find out for sure. ------------ PVILLE: Also who is Prue's ex? ES: You find out soon! -------------- PVILLE: Here is Peyton, was wondering about her. ES: --------------- PVILLE: I love the name for her daughter, so much better than Melinda. ES: I sure thought so, especially because Patricia starts with a P and Melinda doesn't! ----------- PVILLE: I like that it is Peyton telling them this not Leo. ES: *nods* SOO much more sisterly! ----------- PVILLE: OMG, Andy is Prue's ex. ES: Yup. He still died in their S1 finale, but in S2 we found out that he's a whitelighter. PVILLE: Hurry. ES: PVILLE: Can't help but think of Trump again with Pratt. ES: Yup, everyone seems to think so! PVILLE: Peyton didn't wake up here, but I do like them hearing it from a sister, and like how protective Peyton is of her niece. Feels more sisterly-centric, which I like. ES: Someone else reading it thought that maybe this meant that Peyton didn't have to learn the lesson so she didn't go forward. I like that explanation. PVILLE: So Stan didn't kill Patty, just as I suspected. But, I like finding out who Phoebe killed. ES: I did, too - and I liked it being someone they knew! PVILLE: Yes, like she has the time for a husband. Oh Anne was just so annoying. ES: Oh yes, wasn't she! And this makes me think that Piper never married so Jeremy either died or left her. PVILLE: I think Jeremy left Piper, after what she became, and isn't dead. ES: That's my guess. PVILLE: I love that Peyton visits Phoebe. Better to hear it from a sister than Leo like canon. Really liking this story. ES: YAY!! So glad you do!! PVILLE: What a good spot to end part 1, already making me excited for part 2. ES: So? What do you think and does either of you want to read the second half? I don’t care if Tim does or doesn’t. PVILLE: I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the second half now. ES: YAY!! And I'm so glad I get to read your reaction and reply right away!

ES: I'm afraid this has been another crazy weekend for me, PVille, so I'm not going to be able to respond to your reviews, even though I've read and enjoyed them - especially what you thought of Saturday's S2 finale. PVILLE: That's alright, Es, whenever you have time, and as you said since this is the last one you'll share with us, you'll have all the time to catch up on commenting.
And, now I'll be able to catch up on EC now, and I hope Carina will have a new computer so she can too. ES: Thanks for understanding!! ------ ES: BUT I had to give you Part Two of Saturday's S2 finale. ENJOY!! PVILLE: I sure will. ES: PVILLE: Love that tagline. ES: And, of course, that's one that the Saturday group came up with. ------------- PVILLE: And, I like this as the start, setting up them breaking her out, or will they, I'll never know with CCDOW, what direction it will go.
ES: Hehehehe, you're so right about that! PVILLE: I really like Peyton. It feels so more more special to have another sister telling them this not Leo, as she'd know better than anybody what it is like being a witch. ES: Exactly so! -------------------- PVILLE: OMG, when Piper froze Peyton, I jumped. That shocked me, but fits the story, with Piper and Prue and who their future selves are now.
ES: Imagine how much it shocked Prue and Piper to realize that in the future, they're warlocks!
----------------- PVILLE: Here is Andy. ES: Yup! ------------- PVILLE: Oh, this broke my heart, and am thinking of Prue from Secrets and Guys when she wanted to be a mother.
ES: Yup, I know that that's part of the reason why they decided to let Prue be the mother rather than Piper, which a lot of fans (me included) think would've happened had Ted King (Andy) not left the series after S1. ------------- PVILLE: But this fits so well, and so get Andy to leave, it fits his character to not be around them when they changed. Andy would make a great whitelighter.
ES: Oh, yes, wouldn't he? I always swore that if Kyle Brody became a whitelighter, Andy Trudeau better have! PVILLE: I'm so glad I'm reading this not watching, as a big production mistake occured here with the door they made, it was big when they drew the lines, but tiny when they went in. But, in a story, those things are not an issue of course.
ES: WOW! That's something I never noticed! ---------- PVILLE: But what if they can never go home, that Piper said, wasn't I scared, they'd be stuck here the first time.
ES: Oh, man, I sure was! PVILLE: Tissues in handy, for this amazing scene, I love it, and still love it here. Best part not having to watch Phoebe burn, only read it. ES: Oh isn't THAT the truth???!!! SOOO much easier to read it than watch it! ------------ PVILLE: I love Phoebe in this scene, and so going to look forward and hope you guys make sure they don't forget the lesson learned in this one.
ES: Oh, I'm sure Saturday's group will make sure they do. It's why Sunday's group is considering saving 'Morality Bites' for our SERIES finale, not a seaon finale, so we don't have to worry about what to do when it seems they're about to forget this lesson. ------------ PVILLE: Loved this so much, and how it ties in with P3 H20. So perfect, and love Phoebe telling her sisters that Stanley Wilder didn't kill their mom, and how touching, that it all connects to the past and present, which is what this two-parter is all about.
ES: Yup. Now don't you agree that their title is absolutely perfect? PVILLE: Peyton really would be confused, and oh, I hope Phoebe is okay. ES: PVILLE: I'm in relief too, but why would I think Phoebe would not come back, but with CCDOW you never know. Peyton didn't go with them, guess she didn't need to learn the lesson.
ES: And that was that other person's guess, too. I think you guys are right. PVILLE: Now time to get that water demon. ES: Hehehehe, yup! Back to P3 H20! PVILLE: What a scary thing to witness with Patty's death, poor Phoebe. ES: Amen! Prue was so right when she said it takes a long of strength to see what Phoebe sees. PVILLE: Go face your demons. ES: Yup! PVILLE: This really was full circle. I was so moved by this in this combo. ES: --------------- PVILLE: I noticed that Patty waves at them, and they see her. This fits, as always the sisters saw ghosts, why shouldn't they see her now. ES: It's the only part of that episode that I really did not like. -------------- PVILLE: So glad they saved Stan, who saved them. What a great story, but now I'm worried for Peyton and why she wasn't with them. ES: And if Saturday wants to do something about that, they haven't shared it with me. PVILE: So glad you guys fixed that, as the canon episode sure didn't explain why the events happened differently. So fits your story that saving Stan and stopping the water demon changed things. ES: How, I have no idea, but at least it's an explanation! PVILE: Always smile with this speech. ES: Me, too, and I especially love this updated version of the speech! ES: So?? What do you think? PVILLE: Really loved this, and what a wonderful two-part finale, it all fits nicely as a great end to a season. I really wished the canon show did a combo like this. I think I like this more than the canon ones, because it really was combined so very well. So enjoyed reading it.
ES: YAY!!! SOOOO very glad you feel this way. Not sure I love this version more than the two canon episodes, but as I said, it's my favorite of all of the CCDOW episodes and I like quite a few of them! ------------------------
ES: And the funny thing about all of this is that Sunday's group will be re-reading our version of 'P3 H2O' tonight, proof that it won't be combined with our 'Morality Bites'. PVILLE: ES: Hehehehe!

We got our own version of this over at Glued To The Screen now.
Mind you, it's Supernatural, not Charmed. But the idea is basically the same.

I've checked this out and this is NOT Supernatural Done Our Way because unlike us, they do NOT watch the episodes together and then change those episodes to fit their version like we do. Therefore this post really does not belong in this thread but in the Off-Topic board, since this site is for Charmed, not Supernatural.

You may be the Grand Poobah Of All Creation at the Charmed Cafe, Esmeralda. But here, you're just another poster. That's all.
If StoryGirl asks me to move the post, I'll happily do it (or she can move it herself). Until when or if that happens, I think I'm just gonna leave it here.
