ES: OOPS!! I edited this rather than quoted it, so I'm repeating it here: ES: I overslept so I'm sure I won't be able to get all the way through this, but I'll get as far as I can. NEXT MORNING: Time to try to get this whole thing read and replied to! Thanks to all three of you, Carina, PVille and Deidre!! So happy that you're enjoying EC this much! Pheebs Carina phoebeville PVILLE SAID: Since I'm a bit behind Carina reading EC, of course, that's because I started it after her. I'm going to do my replies by adding mine to older ones, than starting my own. Which I did do before. I'm going to add my comments to the bottom of older ones, so we can keep comments all together, as we've done before in other threads. DEIDRE SAID: And I'm further behind. So I'll just keep going at my own pace. I had problems logging into the site tonight, I tried and tried, but finally got in. Looks like most here had the same problems. I had problems over the weekend too. Why is ProBoards having so many issues lately, looks like it is happening more often? Going to continue reading more, as I warned being busy, but tonight, I can come on, so I'll go back at it. Please keep your fingers crossed, I don't lose anything. ES SAID: Sounds like EVERYONE lost some! PVille, I hope you get a chance to return your reactions to this one!
CARINA SAID: Back again for even more. That's two rounds of reading and replying in a day. ES SAID: WOW! SO very glad you like it that much!!!! Unfortunately I have to get to work soon, but I'll try to respond to all of your responses. If I don't have time, I'll finish tonight. CARINA SAID: First off love the title. Reminds me of Sense and Sense Ability. But, I see you added Taste and Smell. ES SAID: Yup, this is one of two episodes that are definitely nods to Classic Charmed and that's the one this one is based on. But since we have 5 Warrens, we had to use all five sense! DEIDRE SAID: This title is so cool. I also so love that it is a Halloween and Birthday episode. I wished Charmed did that more often. I love Halloween, it should be something they did more than twice on the show, at least every couple of seasons. ES: Especially because they're witches, I agree that we should have more than one Halloween episode. You better believe we did that for EC! ------------------- CARINA SAID: Those poor sisters, but I can only imagine Victor's death, and moving to Salem, they did truly forget. I'm glad she is making up for it. And doing a joint party on Halloween. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: It is very hard, but in life when things get so tough or so busy, where only human to truly forget, doesn't mean it was on purpose. I know when my cousin's mother was ill, she forgot my birthday, but I was fine, she sent me a message a day late, and I don't care, at least she still remembered in the end. But some people take it like an insult, expecting you to message them on the day, I had a friend like that, who couldn't stop taking it out on me for forgetting. ES SAID: This is all our part of trying to keep our stars human and not Mary Sues who never mess up. CARINA SAID: I like that we learn about the first Warren in Mary Ann Warren here. ESMERALDA SAID: We wanted to be sure she was mentioned right away. I'll admit I didn't like her name being Mary Ann - I wanted her to be another P, like I wanted Melinda Warren to have a P name, but Mary Ann is what Pheebs came up with, so we stuck with it. As you probably guessed, she's our Melinda Warren. DEIDRE SAID: Mary Ann Warren, our very own Melinda. I love that Prudence tells Piper this, while Piper is looking for party favors. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: NOOO PHOEBE! But, I remember this from the preview article. But still, too late. ES SAID: Yup, the fun of the Deadline articles teasing the episode. DEIDRE SAID: And, I expected this, but love that it is an ancient curse. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: This is fantastic, I love that it all affects their real lives. Prudence, OMG, she can't scream for help, I'll hope she will be okay. I know she will, but very good drama. ES SAID: The fun of doing press releases - we can get them in trouble and don't have to figure out how they get out of it unless we want to! DEIDRE SAID: I love this one so much, because it connects to their lives. Very cool. ES SAID: ------------------- DEIDRE SAID: Poor Prudence, I'd expect that that attack on her would be the end of an act break. You can bet, I'd be freaking out for her all through the ads. ES SAID: Oh, yes, probably at the halfway point, as they'd start fixing it in the second part. And, oh, yes, I'd be freaking out, too! CARINA SAID: They sure will. ES SAID: Something we REALLY wish Classic Charmed had done! The fun of us having the older generations alive! DEIDRE SAID: Yes, teach them well. ES SAID: We were happy to make our series one where the older generation is respected and not laughed at like so many series do. CARINA SAID: I love that it allows Patience to do her job, and it connects her to Phoebe's campus and that Prudence and Paige have to sort out the crash course on using gifts. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I like the sound of this. Looks like a cool plot on our hands. ES SAID: Glad you think so! CARINA SAID: NO Piper, please don't, and I'm glad that they are not too perfect, that even Paige can accidentally make a mistake. I love that she learns a lesson in the end. ES SAID: Nope, they're definitely not perfect. That would get too boring like The Charmed Sons would've. DEIDRE SAID: And they are only human, and not perfect. I love this, I hate when they are too perfect. ES SAID: Me, too. CARINA SAID: Only natural for Connie to feel that way, and glad she got the pick-up. Of course, I knew it, but love reading these behind the scenes stuff. ES SAID: SO glad you do! I wasn't sure if I should just give you the episodes or also give you the Deadline articles - SO glad I decided to give you both! DEIDRE SAID: Connie is very nervous, and she has a right to be. I love that she can now have a sense of relief. ES SAID: And, of course, it does get the full order - we wouldn't have it any other way! - but we had fun keeping it realistic, especially because it's based on one of the rip-off press releases. CARINA SAID: Me too. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: TBC3, you made me smile. ES SAID: Curiosity - all three of you - when reading this, who are you imagining playing the Warrens?CARINA SAID: Very proud that Connie would have done that, and again, this makes it feel all too real, like I keep saying living in this alternate universe, where we get a much better reboot. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Go, Connie. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: And I'll hope they do appear in this. At least some of them, not all. And that's true, I'd hate them to overshadow our new stars. ES SAID: And as I spoiled earlier, yes, but only two - Shannen and Alyssa. We loved the idea of proving to everyone that they're NOT still feuding! DEIDRE SAID: I'm glad they are not feuding here. But I think they made up now. Can't wait to see what they do. ES SAID: Yup, they have. Now Shannen and Holly are having problems. It just never ends! And there goes my alarm - I have to leave. But it works nicely since I just finished an episode.
AND NOW I CAN FINISH!
CARINA SAID: Love the title. And this story is very fun, I like it, and we get to learn about Paige and Patience growing up. ES SAID: We tried hard to introduce all of the Warrens before we got into story arcs. DEIDRE SAID: I love the title again, so cool. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: The EC team is killing it with very fun plots, and I'm loving the drama, with a fake Patience running loose, and them needing to find the real one. From the stuff I read about the real reboot, these sound so much more fun and creative, than theirs, form the little I read. ES SAID: Again so VERY happy that you think so, since that's what I've heard, too. Theirs is all about getting new powers and all about their male lovers while getting rid of the female lovers - and this is about woman power??. Not ours. It's truly about that. And because we gave CBS-TV our own president, they're letting it be shown! DEIDRE SAID: Yeah, they had so many powers. I haven't seen S2, but have seen S1 here and there. I might watch it one time, but for now, It isn't must-see television for me. But, I like that this series is more woman power than theirs. ES SAID: Well, I've heard that they got rid of a lot of things fans didn't like about it and are actually doing better. Still doesn't interest me in the least - just not my thing - but if it might be yours, give it a try and let us know what you think! ------------- DEIDRE SAID: But from what I hear, the reboot is actually going well, and it appears to be be getting better, and from what someone told me, the ratings are rising a little each week, not massive figures, but it hasn't gone any worse. ES SAID: Msybe it's finally found its footing. Took Classic Charmed a half-season; maybe it took the rip-off a full season - and whole new showrunners like I wish Classic Charmed had gotten, starting with Season Three... CARINA SAID: A Christmas episode. I feel so blessed, I have holiday episodes. This will be fun to read. I wished the original did at least one, oh well. ES SAID: You and me both! I've heard that 'A Paige From the Past' was supposed to be a Christmas-themed episode, but after 9/11 they decided to change it, but I'm not sure if that's true. The rip-off DID have a Christmas episode, so that's what this is based on, but using our ideas instead. DEIDRE SAID: And I wished they did do that on Charmed. Hated the reboot Christmas episode. But this one sounds more fun already. ES SAID: Yeah, I haven't heard a lot of good things about the rip-off's Christmas episode. I think ours would've been a WHOLE lot better, mainly because it concentrates on the Warrens, not all of the other characters. CARINA SAID: Keeping the teases going for Paige, I can't wait to see what it is. ES SAID: Hehehehe! Pheebs did SUCH a great job with the teases! PVILLE SAID: She sure does, it just brings on some excitement. DEIDRE SAID: I remember reading these, before I joined. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Yet, another wonderful title. You guys rock at these. ES SAID: Hehehehehe, Team Charmed Café had SUCH fun with those! PVILLE SAID: I love the title so very much. Team Charmed Cafe had so much fun with them, and I love myself a good title, because that is what I read first, as a good catchy title always makes me go into the story excited. DEIDRE SAID: I was so in love with this title. It's so cool. ES SAID: I think we had just as much fun brainstorming the titles as we did the plotlines! ------------ CARINA SAID: I love this plot, very fun, and letting Piper's workplace play a big role in it. This Team Charmed Cafe sure knows how to do things more creative than the real one. ES SO glad that you think so!! We wanted this first season to concentrate on getting to know the Warrens before we got into story arcs. PVILLE SAID: I'm very pleased you did. Because, I'm impressed by how well you are doing it so far. ES SAID: Thank you! DEIDRE SAID: The side plots are also so interesting. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I love this, so much drama. And love that Prudence coaches Phoebe on her very first spell. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: So glad to see Phoebe is learning and has Prudence coaching her. This is how you let your characters grow. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Gotta have them teaching them, and they'll be such good guides. A whitelighter can only help so far, they are not witches, and apart from healing, and checking with the Elders. They have little skills to help make potions or write spells. ES SAID: We thought so, too. It's why we left them out and let the older Warrens take their place. Wish the rip-off had let their whitelighter be someone who's alive and could be a guide without being dead - what I think was Classic Charmed's WORST mistake - letting it go beyond Season One. Just do that and you fix just about everything I don't like about Classic Charmed - well, turn Cole into a warlock who's truly the same age as the sisters or make him truly a mercenary demon who's all evil and then you've got it! CARINA SAID: Harvest Day in Salem, now you are having fun bringing something I will assume was real in Salem as an event. ES SAID: It most definitely is. It was important to us to show that Salem was more than just the town where the witch trials were held. PVILLE SAID: I'm very happy that you decided to make Salem more than just the witch trials. That is what will let Salem be its own character, and not go down the cliche ways. So proud of you guys. I might just learn more about Salem reading this. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I love it. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I love them growing and being able to do things now, with all the skills their family helped them with. ES: SAID: And this is seven episodes into the series! If it only lasted 11 episodes, that's more than half way! Of course we KNEW it would be given a full season, but I still think they'd want to introduce the family and let us get to know them first - SO very different than the rip-off! PVILLE SAID: Very much enjoyed this episode, and this is miles better than Fake Charmed, and I'm very happy with the way things are progressing. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I'm sure with rip-off and fake-charmed, you mean the reboot. ES SAID: Yes, I do. I refuse to give it any name that includes the word Charmed since I truly believe that if it was called anything else it wouldn't still be on the air and I HATE that! I particularly hate them calling it JUST Charmed, but not having them be Halliwells, like what's happened with most reboots. That's why we decided to call ours Elemental Charmed rather than just Charmed. -------------- DEIDRE SAID: I have seen it, but, I haven't kept up with much of Season Two, because I'm busy on Friday Nights now, and I didn't like Season One, the only one I liked was the one Touched By a Demon where Macy is trying to cope with by watching her favorite show, and is trapped in the show. Some day I might watch, but it isn't must see-tv for me. Not as good as the original, and this virtual reboot really sounds more fun.
ES SAID: YAY! Glad you think so!
-------------
DEIDRE SAID: One of my friends loves the reboot/rip-off/fake-Charmed, she is a few years younger than me, but never got to see much of the original, she has seen it, I think, can't remember if all of it. But loves it because of LGBT representation. I hope, I'll be able to get her to see the original series. But, she watches so many shows that air on television currently, so maybe some day. But, she does watch lots and lots of shows, more than me. ES SAID: And that's perfectly AOK with me - if people enjoy it, they should watch it and enjoy it - but like they keep telling us - quit comparing it with Classic Charmed, constantly trying to say how much better this is - that will NOT get Classic Charmed fans who aren't watching to want to watch it - it just makes us roll ours eyes thinking those fans are trying too hard and probably don't really like it, but just are saying it is because it's "Charmed" (which it isn't...) Me, I haven't wasted a single second on it, but then I haven't done that with ANY The CW shows, with the single exception of the one time Brenda (Shannen) appeared on the first BH90210 reboot, the one just called 90210.. I hated what they did with her character and didn't like any of the other characters so I never watched any other episode. But then I'm quite a bit older than their target audience (I was in my 40s/50s when I watched Classic Charmed - I felt more like Patty looking down at my daughters than one of the sisters), so I'm not surprised. CARINA SAID: Love these Warrens, and their daily lives, and a Salem Harvest Feast. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: I love this, and we learn that Patience and Paige have been dealing with Prudence wanting them involved in the harvest festivals for years. I can bet, when they leave the house and get away to work, does Phoebe and Piper try and sneak out of the room and then Prudence convinces them to do it, and prove their mother and aunt wrong that this is a fun thing to do. ES SAID: Hehehehe! That sounds like fun - wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened! DEIDRE SAID: Lots going on in this one, and I love the Harvest Fest. ES SAID: Best of all, it's real - it really does happen in Salem. CARINA SAID: Love this, Paige dealing with her own job, and it connects to their innocent of the week. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: An innocent. DEIDRE SAID:I do like that Paige has an innocent to save. ES SAID: We tried to keep them important throughout the entire series, unlike the alternate-universe spin-off (what most fans think of as S4-8). I don't hear a lot about innocents in the rip-off; have no idea how important they are to that. CARINA SAID: And, I love that they saved this poor teen and make sure the soul collector doesn't get her soul. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Very happy with how it played out. DEIDRE SAID: I'm sure that moment will be both sad (for the parents) and good to see the family helping someone. CARINA SAID: And I agree, I love it so much no putting issues under the rug and making it too perfect. ES SAID: Trying to keep it as realistic as we could! PVILLE SAID:Me too. DEIDRE SAID:The more realistic, the better, I say. But I love, that Connie is working hard to make a good product. ES SAID: And I'm sure she would've, given the chance. CARINA SAID: I'm sure it will, what could it be that backfires? ES SAID: Hehehehe - didn't Pheebs just ROCK the teases? PVILLE SAID: She sure did. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Great tease, now I can't wait to see what spell was backfired. ES SAID: Hehehehe! Don't you wish we could truly watch those clips? PVILLE SAID: I so do. ES SAID: Me, too. CARINA SAID: And again, love the drama. Why should they all get along so quickly, this all makes sense. I love it. ES SAID: YAY! PVILLE SAID: Love this drama. DEIDRE SAID: Lots of drama, and I love that they are having problems, so it isn't so perfect. I hate how quickly they did S4 dirty, with how quickly Paige was introduced, just so the Phoebe/Cole story could happen. ES SAID: Well, they felt like they had to since they didn't know if it would be renewed without Shannen. They thought if anything would save the show, it would be the Phoebe/Cole storyline. Unfortunately for me, that storyline (which will always be my LEAST-favorite storyline which, if done properly, could've been my favorite) only ruined it. CARINA SAID: Oh no, in typical Warren style, something goes wrong. But, I like it. ES SAID: Of course it was inspired by Canon Paige and Canon Phoebe switching bodies (should've been Canon PRUE and Canon Phoebe!), but we had fun with it. PVILLE SAID:You sure had fun with it, because here it actually is important, with a purpose not how Charmed did it. ES SAID: Now that's a fantastic compliment! Thanks, PVIlle! DEIDRE SAID:I like the way this one is set up though, more than Canon Charmed. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I'm sure that is a smart idea, Prudence wouldn't like it. ES SAID: Nope! Not at all! PVILLE SAID: Yes. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I love this, what a cool way for them to know what the other is feeling and resolve their problems. And they get to save children, but oh no, a trap. Watch out! ES SAID: I LOVE how much you're getting into this! DEIDRE SAID: I love this one, it has a good lesson behind it. PVILLE SAID: I really like it. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I'm so glad they will do this now weekly. ES SAID: And Sasha, who wrote this part (when there's two names, usually the first one wrote the episode and then the second one edited it before I did my edit.), will make sure they do! PVILLE SAID: Thanks for saying that, I wasn't sure when I saw two names, but now I know. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Good job, and so glad they are having their weekly dinners. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: A joint episode, well done you two. ES SAID: Like I just said, Sasha actually wrote it, but Summer made it better! PVILLE SAID: Very much enjoyed this episode. DEIDRE SAID: A great episode, and I enjoyed it. ES SAID: So glad you both did since it's one of my favorites. And there goes the alarm! Couldn't have timed that better if I tried! Thanks again for the reviews!

As someone who has watched the reboot, I can say this season is a big improvement over the last one. Looks like they actually listened to the complaints and address them.
Funny, original Charmed started good and got progressively worse as the seasons went on, the opposite seems to be happening in the case of the reboot.
I wonder if there are any angry Magnum P.I. fans out there who feel the same way about the reboot of that show. Unlike Charmed, the Magnum reboot is using the same characters names. The only difference is that, in this incarnation, Higgins is a woman (and played by someone who as actually British, the original Higgins actor was from Texas).
Two actors from the original series, Roger Mosley and Larry Manetti (the original T.C. and Rick) have appeared on the reboot (playing different characters, of course). I wonder if Tom Selleck, the original Magnum, will turn up.

ES SAID: WOW, Carina! You're just flying through these and I can't believe I'm so far behind in responding. I think I'll put yours on high-priority and respond to the others once I catch up with you - I hope that's okay with the others. Season 2, Episode 9: "The Legend of the Bell Witch"SOMETHING FROM THE PAST IS HAUNTING THE WARRENS - When Belinda Bennet, Victor's elderly mother, and Piper and Phoebe's grandmother on their fathers side and Patience's mother in law who had been suffering from dementia for a long time passes away. Patience, Piper and Phoebe attend her service in Tennessee. Following the service, and learning that Piper and Phoebe had inherited Victors family cabin after his death, but never visited it since, but had when they were children. The three stay the night at the cabin before leaving for Salem in the morning.
CARINA SAID: This one looks good. I like that we learn more about Victor's side of the family too, and they also inherit something. ES SAID: And I'll bet you want to know what that something is! CARINA SAID: I love the Bell Witch legend. You guys are doing a great job adding in interesting stuff, you sure must research lots. It shows. I love this legend. ES SAID: And that's all the fun of doing this as a group - some can be researching while others are writing. And if they don't want to research, they don't have to (I didn't do any at all), because others are. CARINA SAID: And back in Salem, another great subplot, I love. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: And I love them using the spirit board for answers. What a cool twist. I love it. ES SAID: I like them doing it this way rather than summoning Victor - it keeps reminding us that Victor is dead - something that didn't mean a lot in the alternate-universe spin-off where ghosts became corporeal for no good reason. Not in our version! CARINA SAID: I very much loved this episode. Great job Miranda Turner. ES SAID: She'll be very happy to hear that! Reminds me - when you're done with EC, would you mind if I copied all of your reviews over to the Charmed Café so the authors can read them?

CARINA SAID: Yes, Who is Who, sounds like my Warrens are going to be confused about something. Maybe a shapeshifter? ES SAID: Darn it! My turn! I'm POSITIVE I already replied to this - I remember being so proud that you figured out that it's a shapeshifter (part of why I really don't like PVille and Deidre following you rather than just reading the episodes and doing their own replies and not reading yours because your replies may give away something they wouldn't have figured out and surprise them, but I hope they keep doing whatever works best for them.)! Darn it! Oh, well - hopefully I'll remember what I said. CARINA SAID: I'm glad Phoebe cares about her finals. ES SAID: A cool way to let it be about Piper and her friend. CARINA SAID: Poor Monica. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Oh no. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: The drama just keeps on coming. ES SAID: Hehehehe! That it does. We can't have things go smoothly for the Warrens! CARINA SAID: I'm glad she found out, but please help poor Monica. ES SAID: Yes, please do! Hehehe! And, of course, you know they will. CARINA SAID: A shape-shifter. This warlock is up to no good. ES SAID: Hehehehe, yep; you were right! CARINA SAID: Oh no, Piper, the warlock, she's in the house. ES SAID: Yup, that she is! CARINA SAID: Good job, Piper. Thinking on your feet. ES SAID: And figuring a way to figure it out without using powers! CARINA SAID: Oh no, but another problem, they have to prove she is innocent. I'm sure Jessica can help out too, at the station with Patience's help. ES SAID: Oh, that's a great idea! I think this episode might have been written before we introduced Jessica (We didn't always do everything in order - we hopped all over the place! The fun of knowing our goal was to do 100 episodes - 4 1/2 seasons worth.), but otherwise that would've been a fantastic way to include her! CARINA SAID: Title has me very curious. ES SAID: VERY happy when they do that to you! My fellow Team Charmed Cafe were SO good at doing that! CARINA SAID: Oh no, my poor Warrens. Stop messing with their lives, but this is going to be good drama. ES SAID: And I know you know we'll never stop messing with them because then there would be no drama. CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Well, they sure are going all out, all of them are having a bad day. ES SAID: Yup! The bad gal is having LOTS of fun! I'm sure you've figured out that there's a warlock behind all of this! CARINA SAID: OMG, Paige. ES SAID: Yup! I thought it was very smart on Sasha's part to do something like this so they could figure out what was going on - that it ISN'T just coincidence. CARINA SAID: Thank you Prudence. But, love the suspense. Imagine, if she was more hurt, Paige. ES SAID: That could've been disastrous! I'm glad Sasha didn't do that. CARINA: This was a good one, so much drama and suspense. ES SAID: So glad you think so. I just wish Sasha had written more on this one! Although I love press releases that end like that - it's the only thing I don't like about CCDOW - they pretty much crib off the episodes and then change to fit our storyline, while, as I said, I really prefer press releases like this. Hmmm...I've been trying to figure out how to do my own fantasy version of CCDOW - maybe I'll do it that way - just do press releases that are closer to this. It's also why (like Classic Charmed), I've found that I prefer one-shots to story arcs, because once they started doing story arcs, the authors did the full episodes - although not in the detail that CCDOW (or C:RI, for that matter) did.

CARINA SAID: Love the title. ES SAID: And, of course, it's a nod to "Is There a Woogy in the House". CARINA SAID: I love that it is a villain that has no powers. WOW! ES SAID: Yup, I've always preferred the non-magical villains so I'm glad Team Charmed Cafe included them. CARINA SAID: Always backfires, Phoebe I hope you learn a lesson though. ES SAID: By now you know that we make sure that they do! CARINA SAID: I'm glad they do pay her a visit. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: The drama keeps getting better. ES SAID: Funny, I don't remember editing this one - I never would've allowed a male villain in! I wonder how I missed it. But I'm glad you still love the drama! CARINA SAID: So glad you found it Paige, but too late he drove off. ES SAID: Yup. CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Prudence will grill her later for sure. Hurry save your family. I'm scared. ES SAID: This is one that's a lot more detailed than most of the others and you're enjoying it. I'll bet you'll love our story arcs, even if I prefer the teaser-type press releases. And I was wrong. The story arcs don't really get going until S3. CARINA SAID: How will you get inside, I'm scared. ES SAID: So glad you are - it means even without my editing, Miranda did a great job! CARINA SAID: And I hope she finds out the truth, and has Jessica arrest them. What a fun episode. ES SAID: So it ends up being a teaser one after all. And again, I think this was before we introduced Jessica, but that would've been so perfect!

ES SAID: She'll be very happy to hear that! Reminds me - when you're done with EC, would you mind if I copied all of your reviews over to the Charmed Café so the authors can read them? CARINA SAID: On my smartphone atm, as I'm out. So I'll keep reading more EC when home. But this was important to comment on now. That sounds great, go ahead and share these so the writers can see them. I hoped you enjoyed Halloween too. Because I did rewatch it All Halliwells Eve and have ideas for the Power of Five version of it. How could I not watch it.

Since you're already done with S1, can I post those right away??? Go ahead.

PVILLE SAID: I am now, decided to go back and return to my reactions for what I lost, than do a new episode.
PVILLE SAID: The title is so much fun, and I love Halloween, and I'm smiling more, because it reminds me of my real life and Halloween and birthday. PVILLE SAID: I'm so happy to hear it. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Hearing about Mary Ann was great, and a good lead-in to meeting her later. CARINA SAID: NOOO PHOEBE! But, I remember this from the preview article. But still, too late. ES SAID: Yup, the fun of the Deadline articles teasing the episode. DEIDRE SAID: And, I expected this, but love that it is an ancient curse. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: And Prudence was too late to stop her. CARINA SAID: This is fantastic, I love that it all affects their real lives. Very cool. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: I really enjoyed this one. ------------------- DEIDRE SAID: Poor Prudence, I'd expect that that attack on her would be the end of an act break. You can bet, I'd be freaking out for her all through the ads. ES SAID: Oh, yes, probably at the halfway point, as they'd start fixing it in the second part. And, oh, yes, I'd be freaking out, too! PVILLE SAID: I'd be freaking out too. PVILLE SAID: And I'm so glad they did, and they are treated with respect. I feel bad that The CW needs to treat the older actors and characters with more respect. I know they say they are diverse with LGBT for their network, but sometimes, I feel like they just want to tick a box and get publicly than making these characters more than just being LGBT or a person of color. And half the time, the characters are not being treated much better than anybody else. The CW was like that with how they marketed Charmed the reboot in the first place. So glad EC is doing fantastic with how they treat the older generation. PVILLE SAID: I love that their jobs play a part in the story. PVILLE SAID: So happy that Piper learned a lesson. PVILLE SAID: I'm glad that she got a full season, of course she would. But I love these Deadline Articles. CARINA SAID: Me too. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: TBC3, you made me smile. ES SAID: Curiosity - all three of you - when reading this, who are you imagining playing the Warrens?
PVILLE SAID: That is a very good question Es. I picture Jennifer Rhodes playing Prudence, and the Witches of East End actors playing Patience and Paige since on that show they played sisters to one of two's daughters. CARINA SAID: Very proud that Connie would have done that, and again, this makes it feel all too real, like I keep saying living in this alternate universe, where we get a much better reboot. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Go, Connie. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Connie so excited for what you have to coming up (of course, I know what it is since I read those, and just putting my reactions lost back in here) CARINA SAID: And I'll hope they do appear in this.
ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: I love this story, a Paige/Patience story. CARINA SAID: The EC team is killing it with very fun plots, and I'm loving the drama, with a fake Patience running loose, and them needing to find the real one. PVILLE SAID: This story was pretty scary, to make me worried for Patience. I heard they are trying to make the reboot better or so it seems fixing what didn't work out in S1 or fans hated, the youngest sister, I just saw online recently, that she now has Phoebe's power to see into the future, and not Empathy, maybe they are going to let innocents and using that power now. Since from what I heard, all the sisters lost their powers, and have to earn them back, but looks like they might be doing a reset. Not sure, I'll jump in, I gave up after half a season. But, I'll be curious to read online what happens. PVILLE SAID: It appears they have, maybe these new showrunners are going to make it better. Might be the opposite of Classic Charmed, we'll see. I'm happy to hear that premonitions or whatever they call it, is now a power for a sister again.. Will this let innocents be important again. We'll see. PVILLE SAID: And it was a boring Christmas episode, I loved the EC one much better.
ES SAID: WOW, Carina! You're just flying through these and I can't believe I'm so far behind in responding. I think I'll put yours on high-priority and respond to the others once I catch up with you - I hope that's okay with the others. PVILLE SAID: That is fine Es. I'm fine with that. Esmeralda Pheebs CARINA SAID: Already the title has be very interested to know what secrets are revealed. ES SAID: Team Charmed Café came up with such fantastic titles - I can only take credit for "Back Home Again" - the rest are all theirs. PVILLE SAID: What secret is buried. I'm excited to find out. CARINA SAID: So happy to hear Andrea is doing okay, last episode, I was worried when I didn't get an update on her health. ES SAID: I know you were so I'm glad we relieved you right away! PVILLE SAID: I'm happy Andrea is okay, and that we know meet her coven. How fun. ------------------ CARINA SAID: I like getting to know about their old coven. ES SAID: And a bit of a teaser - they'll be VERY important throughout the rest of our series! PVILLE SAID: Me too, and glad they are important later on. CARINA SAID: WOW, that nice dinner didn't last long. A member dead, and a mystery on our hands on who did it. ES SAID: Like we keep saying - nothing can go smoothly for the Warrens! PVILLE SAID: I love that Patience gets to hear stories, and I like this plot with the coven. Too bad, I hated How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans, this one sounds more fun. Too bad, they didn't use Janice (is that the name of Allen's sister) instead of Gail, so the sisters truly had a second Grams. CARINA SAID: Yep, and bring her to justice. ES SAID: You've got it! PVILLE SAID: I'm glad they'll convince them. We need to avenge Pauline. CARINA SAID: Yes, back to Salem we go. I love this truth spell, and of course it backfires. This episode has great drama and a good balance between both locations. ES SAID: YAY! SOOOO glad you think so! PVILLE SAID: And now, we are back in Salem with another cool story. I like that this is happening, because it is perfect for the three left behind in Salem. But, so much drama. CARINA SAID: The truth can hurt. ES SAID: That it definitely can! PVILLE SAID: CARINA SAID: I'm glad they were able to use their truth spell to get rid of a warlock. Yes, it does do damage. ES SAID: Didn't Pheebs just rock this episode? I sure think so! PVILLE SAID: I really liked this one. Pheebs so rocked it. CARINA SAID: Another great title. ES SAID: One of my favorites. PVILLE SAID: I love it so much. CARINA SAID: What a great way to use that spell. ES SAID: And, of course, this one is our version of 'They're Everywhere', one of my favorite episodes. PVILLE SAID: I love this one, and again part of an episode I love, only the way it happens here is even better than using it on their boyfriends. CARINA SAID: And it will be good drama. ES SAID: Yup!! PVILLE SAID: And, I love that the tension is still here. CARINA SAID: And after last episode, I love that this spell helps them to repair their relationships. ES SAID: We couldn't leave Piper hating her younger sister - it could totally mess up the Power of the Elementals! PVILLE SAID:I'm so glad they did, as it would mess up the Power of the Elementals! I'm glad that they repaired it though, and that Paige regrets what her daughter did, and they all make up. CARINA SAID: Again another fantastic plot for these Warrens. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: And I love Piper's plot here, so much fun, I love how their jobs are so central, in a fun way. Those are the side stories I like when it isn't all about their boyfriends. CARINA SAID: And the drama in Philadelphia is just as good. Really love this one. ES SAID: I'm so glad you're enjoying our first story arc! PVILLE SAID: I really loved this story arc. CARINA SAID: A Friday the 13th episode. ES SAID: Yup, our version of 'From Fear to Eternity'. PVILLE SAID: I love it. The Demoness of Nightmares sounds scary. CARINA SAID: STOP HER Elemental Witches! ES SAID: Yup. Rather than killing 13 witches, like Barbas, this is killing innocent children! PVILLE SAID: I love that it is innocent children, really more exciting. CARINA SAID: And I love this so much, to save an innocent each. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Save those children!!! CARINA SAID: Another way of letting their Element power be important. I love it. ES SAID: YAY! We had SO much fun brainstorming how we could make the Elemental powers important, so I'm glad you think we succeeded! PVILLE SAID:I loved these last three episodes. Good story arcs, good relationships, and great villains. I couldn't ask for anything better. And these are the episodes that will air until Christmas 2019 for EC.

PVILLE SAID: I am now, decided to go back and return to my reactions for what I lost, than do a new episode. ES SAID: I'm SO glad that you decided to do this, PVille!
PVILLE SAID: The title is so much fun, and I love Halloween, and I'm smiling more, because it reminds me of my real life and Halloween and birthday. ES SAID: And I'm so happy that I know a Charmed fan whose birthday is on Halloween - that is SO cool! I was thinking of your while my friend and I were watching 'All Halliwell's Eve' on Halloween. PVILLE SAID: I'm so happy to hear it. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I like that we learn about the first Warren in Mary Ann Warren here. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Hearing about Mary Ann was great, and a good lead-in to meeting her later. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: And Prudence was too late to stop her. ES SAID: That's what I liked best about this episode - not even Prudence is perfect! CARINA SAID: This is fantastic, I love that it all affects their real lives. Very cool. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: I really enjoyed this one. PVILLE SAID: I'd be freaking out too. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: They sure will. ES SAID: Something we REALLY wish Classic Charmed had done! The fun of us having the older generations alive! DEIDRE SAID: Yes, teach them well. ES SAID: We were happy to make our series one where the older generation is respected and not laughed at like so many series do. ES SAID: And I'm so glad that you fee that way. The fact that they're just ticking off boxes is proven that from what I've read, most of this is no longer part of the rip-off's S2. PVILLE SAID: I love that their jobs play a part in the story. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: NO Piper, please don't, and I'm glad that they are not too perfect, that even Paige can accidentally make a mistake. PVILLE SAID: So happy that Piper learned a lesson. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Only natural for Connie to feel that way, and glad she got the pick-up. PVILLE SAID: I'm glad that she got a full season, of course she would. But I love these Deadline Articles. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Me too.
ES SAID: OH! What a cool way of thinking about it. Having never watched WOEE, were there younger family members who you could imagine playing Piper and Phoebe? CARINA SAID: Very proud that Connie would have done that, and again, this makes it feel all too real, like I keep saying living in this alternate universe, where we get a much better reboot. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Go, Connie. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Connie so excited for what you have to coming up (of course, I know what it is since I read those, and just putting my reactions lost back in here) ES SAID: Hehehehe, yup, but I'm glad you're trying to repeat what you said before, even if you know what's coming. CARINA SAID: And I'll hope they do appear in this. CARINA SAID: Love the title. And this story is very fun, I like it, and we get to learn about Paige and Patience growing up. ES SAID: We tried hard to introduce all of the Warrens before we got into story arcs. DEIDRE SAID: I love the title again, so cool. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: I love this story, a Paige/Patience story. ES SAID: Yup. Doesn't always have to be all five. CARINA SAID: The EC team is killing it with very fun plots, and I'm loving the drama, with a fake Patience running loose, and them needing to find the real one. From the stuff I read about the real reboot, these sound so much more fun and creative, than theirs, from the little I read. PVILLE SAID: This story was pretty scary, to make me worried for Patience. ES SAID: Definitely! ----------------- PVILLE SAID: I heard they are trying to make the reboot better or so it seems fixing what didn't work out in S1 or fans hated, the youngest sister, I just saw online recently, that she now has Phoebe's power to see into the future, and not Empathy, maybe they are going to let innocents and using that power now. Since from what I heard, all the sisters lost their powers, and have to earn them back, but looks like they might be doing a reset. ES SAID: I give them credit for admitting that they screwed up the first season. Too bad they stole the name "Charmed" or they wouldn't have gotten this reset I'm sure. -------------- PVILLE SAID: Not sure, I'll jump in, I gave up after half a season. But, I'll be curious to read online what happens. ES SAID: From what I've read, it sounds like they've thrown out everything that should've made it be Charmed except for having a whitelighter who's nothing like a Charmed whitelighter and the fact that they're sisters the same way Paige was sister to the Halliwells. It still hasn't earned the title "Charmed". Nothing I've read interests me, so I still won't waste a second watching, although I'll admit I'll also be curious enough to read online what happens and what the viewers think of it. ------------- DEIDRE SAID: But from what I hear, the reboot is actually going well, and it appears to be be getting better, and from what someone told me, the ratings are rising a little each week, not massive figures, but it hasn't gone any worse. ES SAID: Maybe it's finally found its footing. Took Classic Charmed a half-season; maybe it took the rip-off a full season - and whole new showrunners like I wish Classic Charmed had gotten, starting with Season Three... PVILLE SAID: It appears they have, maybe these new showrunners are going to make it better. Might be the opposite of Classic Charmed, we'll see. I'm happy to hear that premonitions or whatever they call it, is now a power for a sister again.. Will this let innocents be important again. We'll see. ES SAID: If innocents are more important than the latest demon or the latest significant other or the latest power upgrade, that would be a GREAT improvement over S1. PVILLE SAID: And it was a boring Christmas episode, I loved the EC one much better. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Keeping the teases going for Paige, I can't wait to see what it is.
------------- ES: Thanks again for adding back your comments, PVille!

How fun. ES SAID: ------------------ CARINA SAID: I like getting to know about their old coven. ES SAID: And a bit of a teaser - they'll be VERY important throughout the rest of our series! PVILLE SAID: Me too, and glad they are important later on. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: WOW, that nice dinner didn't last long. ES SAID: They used a couple of different names for Allen's sister. Janice was the one used in 'Witchstock'. Supposedly "little" Patty was staying with her, even though "little" Patty would give birth to Prue two years later! That one is SO full of inconsistencies - so obvious that the episode was originally meant for Patty, but when Finola couldn't be part of it, they did a horrible job changing it for Penny. And like you, I hate 'How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans'. I count Gail as an honorary aunt, not as Penny's sister. CARINA SAID: Yep, and bring her to justice. ES SAID: You've got it! PVILLE SAID: I'm glad they'll convince them. We need to avenge Pauline. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Yes, back to Salem we go. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: The truth can hurt. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Another great title. ES SAID: One of my favorites. PVILLE SAID: I love it so much. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: What a great way to use that spell. ES SAID: And, of course, this one is our version of 'They're Everywhere', one of my favorite episodes. PVILLE SAID: I love this one, and again part of an episode I love, only the way it happens here is even better than using it on their boyfriends. ES SAID: Yup, you can tell what it's based on - one of my all-time favorite episodes written by my favorite Charmed author, Sheryl J. Anderson. I SO love the way she wrote the sisters! CARINA SAID: And it will be good drama. ES SAID: Yup!! PVILLE SAID: And, I love that the tension is still here. ES SAID: Glad you do. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Again another fantastic plot for these Warrens. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: And I love Piper's plot here, so much fun, I love how their jobs are so central, in a fun way. Those are the side stories I like when it isn't all about their boyfriends. ES SAID: Well, since we've yet to introduce a boyfriend, we can't! Hehehe! CARINA SAID: And the drama in Philadelphia is just as good. Really love this one. ES SAID: I'm so glad you're enjoying our first story arc! PVILLE SAID: I really loved this story arc. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: A Friday the 13th episode. ES SAID: Yup, our version of 'From Fear to Eternity'. PVILLE SAID: I love it. The Demoness of Nightmares sounds scary. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: STOP HER Elemental Witches! ES SAID: Yup. Rather than killing 13 witches, like Barbas, this is killing innocent children! PVILLE SAID: I love that it is innocent children, really more exciting. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: And I love this so much, to save an innocent each. ES SAID: PVILLE SAID: Save those children!!! ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Another way of letting their Element power be important. ES SAID: Nope, actually until January 2019. You're finally ahead of "real time".

Since you're already done with S1, can I post those right away??? Go ahead. Have to let you know that some of the members of Team Café have already spotted your reviews (I called it their present and they LOVE it!!) Just to give you an idea: Es, this is such a good present and treat for us all. I can't wait to read this, but with a re-watch coming up soon, I'll have to wait. But I couldn't help but read some now, and I just get a huge smile and laugh at her review style, but how much she is into these. She wants to do her own series now, I couldn't be more honored and happy to hear that. This really made me smile. SUMMER: Starting to fade, but I wanted to read some. But decided to read the ideas Carina has first, and then comment on all the stuff she thought of ours later, as that will take more time.
CARNA SAID: I think you made the right call doing that, so readers can decide who can star. That sounds so cool you decided to do your own. I assume here, Holly and Shannen played the Warrens from the past, and Rose played a villain. You make me want to try my own fantasy version, but a different kind of one, where it focuses on Penny, Patty, Prue, Piper, and Phoebe from Charmed, but if you all give me permission (I'd probably not share it publicly), as wondering if it is possible to do one based on Charmed, with five Halliwells but finding a way to combine Charmed with Elemental Charmed's setting in Salem. So it would be set in 1998. I've become such a fan of Elemental Charmed, that, a part of me, might not do it, I love the EC series too much, that I might do something else. That only if I had permission, otherwise, I'll never mention this again. SUMMER: WOW! Carina, that sounds fantastic. You don't know, how this put a smile on my face, that you loved ours so much, it inspired you to want to do your own version. And Es, has already asked us a while ago, and you have our permission, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. ------------------------------------ CARINA: If not, I'd do a different fantasy version series which stars the Halliwell family in San Francisco, and follows the Charmed series, and just find a way to use Patty and Penny for a Power of Five. SUMMER: That sounds fun, especially if you set this one in 1998, you can use them and or the original cast. --------------------------------------- CARINA: Not sure how I'd spread the powers around, the fourth and fifth gifts would probably be Astral Projection and or orbing and the other maybe Empathy. And all the Halliwells always have one power, no additional ones. SUMMER: Well, if you have Penny, Patty, Prue, Piper and Phoebe. That is up to you. I'd think, you wouldn't want to give them all second powers. You could do like we did in EC, and let one Halliwell have a teleportation power and or the other having some kind of fire power. Of course, you'll do what is best for your story. I still think you'd be better off doing like we did, and letting Penny have premonitions like we did with Prudence. -------------------- CARINA: My Halliwell jobs would probably be letting Prue stay at Bucklands, Piper stay at Quake, Phoebe not working and then college. Penny maybe retired or has a job and close to retiring, and Patty works as a social worker and or detective replacing Andy or Darryl. SUMMER: I love those suggestions. You could do like we did in EC, with Penny who was a doctor but now retired. You might be better off, just sticking to canon for Prue and Piper's jobs in S1, with Penny a retired doctor, and Patty working with the police either as a detective or how we did it in EC. Up to you how you'll do it. I'll look forward to seeing what you do, Carina. -------------------- CARINA: I'd probably kill off one Halliwell star at the end of Season Three, so Paige could join and replace someone. I might even make Phoebe be the half sister and not be Victors daughter, if I stick with not replacing a Halliwell, if I don't use Paige. But I still don't know, if this could work. SUMMER: You could do that and introduce the fourth sister then, especially if she is Patty's daughter. And not sure if Es shared our backstory with you of EC, so I won't spoil it for you, but you might feel inspired by it. And, you'd have Patty and Penny reveal this to the surviving sisters in Season Four. And they'd do it without being ghosts, wouldn't they. ------------------ CARINA: I'd call my series The Power of Five or House of Halliwells not Charmed. SUMMER: I love that name, and hope you decide to use The Power of Five over House of Halliwell. House of Halliwell would make a great title for your first episode. ES: I've been SO happy with Carina's reviews of EC that I asked her permission to post her reviews here AND SHE AGREED! She's almost done with S2, but agreed that I could post her reviews of S1, and then each of the other seasons as she finishes them. Although she read and reviewed the first season from Oct 8th through Oct 20th, I'm going to put them all in this one post. So as a late Happy Anniversary, Elemental Charmed and Team Charmed Café, I present Carina! ENJOY!! SASHA: Es, this is fantastic. I love it, I'm going to look over these now. Since I know most of these well (especially the ones I wrote), I won't need to read much, just her comments to reply. But I'll skim an episode, if need be. Elemental Charmed
Created by Constance M. Burge
Note from Esmeralda: Although we did originally cast this series, we decided to just use TBD (To be determined) and TBC (to be cast) so than any fan can imagine anyone THEY want to play the roles. CARINA SAID: Well that is fun, I'll get to cast them myself if I have some ideas. But I like this, because you can cast anyone or any culture if you'd like. SASHA SAID: You sure can, Carina. Imagine them as whoever you want. CARINA SAID: Bringing all the good writers back, yes this is a killer writing team, and no Brad Kern, already getting excited. Now this is a cool way of rebooting, because doing three sisters again, but five women, and using the five elements, that is so very cool. It reminds me of the short-lived series Witches of East End, that was based on four women. SASHA SAID: I'm so glad you thought so Carina. I remember Witches of East End, and too bad, I wished that was still on the air rather than the rip-off. I think I'd be much happier, if it were the new witch show, at least that one didn't rip off Charmed, the only nods were their manor looking similar to it, but different. CARINA SAID: I feel so spoiled, don't I wish we got that anniversary celebration. I like the stars here, and the descriptions of each Warren family member. What I love is how you did it, that everyone can identify with one character, and her age. SASHA SAID: Yup! CARINA SAID: I like this set-up, you've got the two younger Warrens learning about everything in the pilot from their mother, grandmother and aunt. That makes perfect sense for a set-up. These articles your group did are so real, that I'm picturing myself reading these online visiting Deadline. They are fantastic. SASHA SAID: All thanks to Pheebs, she did a great job with them. CARINA SAID: And I love how here they are promoting the reboot, not like the real one, that offended people by how they marketed it, with disrespecting the original. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: I wished I could watch 20 Years of Magic. This is fantastic. Seeing them reflect on the show, and the legacy and previously unseen footage from episodes. SASHA SAID: Don't we all. I'd so record this special too. CARINA SAID: Yes, I like the way this is doing it. Protecting the innocent is mentioned, and something, I know that reboot didn't do. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: Now, this is so much better for a reboot, than trying to copy the Power of Three again, like the reboot did. I also like that you named it Elemental Charmed not Charmed. Don't know if you find it annoying, in regards to the hash tags for Charmed with social media, getting used for both Classic Charmed and Reboot Charmed. It's unfair for fans who like either, to have to see stuff for the other, especially non-reboot fans. And you can't not unsee it. Unlike here, Elemental Charmed would be a hash tag, and Charmed. Letting both be separate. SASHA SAID: That's a good point. I so wish they did go by a different name. CARINA SAID: This is interesting, I also love that they are all in a different age decade, very cool. And I like that you guys did that with the names. SASHA SAID: I'm so glad you thought so, we had so much fun coming up with this. CARINA SAID: Yes to a family book of shadows being a major part, yes to warlocks. I also like that if a witch kills a non-magical, she becomes a warlock, and a warlock who saves an innocent becomes a witch. I really think that concept should have been used on Charmed, because it would help fix Cole, so he could change, But I don't know, he was 120 years old, so it might be hard to change with that much evildoing for so long. SASHA SAID: Yep, I'm so glad you thought so. Es came up with that suggestion. CARINA SAID: I'd have watched it. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: This sounds so like something Rose would say, and I love it. I for sure, feel like I have entered this alternate universe with this series. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: And this sounds so much like Holly and Alyssa. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: I really enjoyed reading this. Love the shade at Kern, and I had to giggle at Shannen's response here, and Alyssa is typical Alyssa in her response. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: Love the responses from the cast, and yes, I can only imagine that is how someone close to 70 or whoever played Prudence would feel, and again, the press releases here sound so real, with the responses. So well done. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: This is heaven, I literally love that this happened in the alternate universe. Too bad, the cast couldn't get along, so they could really do this. I'd be overjoyed to watch the Youtube videos online of these. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: I agree with the critic review, this show does deserve that 4.5/5. I like the set-up even more, especially with the younger Warrens living away from the others, and then being pulled into their new life as witches. And it's true, it did take a while for Charmed to find its footing. And I agree, no love interests in the first two episodes, we have five stars to get to know, so it makes sense, it's all about them and their bonds. SASHA SAID: YAY!!! CARINA SAID: And I love that it does appeal to both the millennial generation and the late 90s fans. SASHA SAID: Me too, and we sure hope it does. CARINA SAID: WOW! Doing that on Oct 7th is so much fun, don't I wish I could sit down and watch this. I don't have the Blu Ray of Charmed, I think I'll wait for them to release more, and then just buy the first three seasons on Blu-Ray. Too bad we won't get any extras, since half the cast don't get along, and the writers have moved on. We won't get anything like this. I remember Dailies for Charmed leaked on Youtube, but now they are gone, CBS told them to take them down. Oh well, I liked them because they had deleted scenes in them. SASHA SAID: Yeah, so sad those are taken down. Darn CBS! STARTING TO FADE, So I'm going to skip over to see what you thought of some of my episodes, and then I'll come back later and look at the rest.
CARINA SAID: And again, love the drama. Why should they all get along so quickly, this all makes sense. I love it. SASHA SAID: Thanks, and that is what we wanted. We didn't want it to be too perfect, we need drama and conflict, or we have no show. CARINA SAID: Oh no, in typical Warren style, something goes wrong. But I like it. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: I'm sure that is a smart idea, Prudence wouldn't like it. SASHA SAID: She has more life experience to know these things. CARINA SAID: I love this, what a cool way for them to know what the other is feeling and resolve their problems. And they get to save children, but oh no, a trap. Watch out! SASHA SAID: I'm glad you thought so. CARINA SAID: I'm so glad they will do this now weekly. SASHA SAID: Yes, and this will not be forgotten in later episodes. CARINA SAID: A joint episode, well done you two. SASHA SAID: Thanks, I wrote the episode, but Summer just edited it to make it better. The first name is the author and the second is the one who did more edits to make it better or add something to it. CARINA SAID: Love Christmas and Holiday themed episodes, love this Deadline article, with interviews on set. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: Wouldn't it, so rewarding. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: Thank you Connie Burge, I agree, no demons or warlocks. Let this one be special. SASHA SAID: And I heard the rip-off's version wasn't that great. So glad, we managed to make this more special than they did it. CARINA SAID: Neither can I, Connie. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: That was a great tease. Now, I'm really wanting to know what will happen. SASHA SAID: And can't wait to see what you thought of it. CARINA SAID: I love how much a part Victor isn't forgotten, these early episodes have a great pace. I like learning about the Warrens. And this makes great sense, I'll hope they come home for Christmas, of course, they will, but love that they may learn another lesson. SASHA SAID: Yep, didn't want that to be forgotten, and it had to make mention that this is their first without Victor. CARINA SAID: I love that it lets them appreciate Victor even more along with the rest of their family. SASHA SAID: We didn't want them to forget about him. CARINA SAID: I can't wait to find out what it is. SASHA SAID: And, I'm sure you know what we did, a nice nod to the famous video from Thank You For Not Morphing. CARINA SAID: This is perfect, I love it so much. Yes, the best present. SASHA SAID: I'm so glad you thought so, it was just so perfect, and the bes way to nod the original episode with the video, the only time Christmas was shown on the show in some form. CARINA SAID: I love that without Piper around they do it the old fashioned way. SASHA SAID: CARINA SAID: I love that this little girl learns the true meaning of Christmas, as do Piper and Phoebe, and they come home and watch the video. Well done, Sasha Trudeau and Es. This is a really great Christmas and Holiday episode, and perfect way to end the year before EC goes on break. Now, I can't wait for the second half of S1. SASHA SAID: So happy to hear you loved it.
ES: And since EC *is* about to go on hiatus at this point and since I’m fading out, I’m going to call quits here and do the rest tomorrow morning. I hope the rest of you are enjoying Carina’s replies as much as I have! SASHA: I'm enjoying these comments so much Es, I had fun reading them. I was starting to fade, so I had to comment on the ones I did quickly before I do, but hope to go back and look at the others. I loved it so much. I skimmed and saw she wants to do her own series, that really made me feel so honored. Go for it, Carina! I love this present. Look forward to reading these. Since our re-watch is now 7 Central. I might spend time before we start tonight reading them.

Esmeralda Pheebs CARINA SAID: Again this title makes me think someone or something is changing into something. Could be anything. CARINA SAID: The Legend of the Wendigo. I love her checking up on a former client, and of course our Patience is also here to take photos. CARINA SAID: CARINA SAID: Nice to hear from Jessica again. CARINA SAID: CARINA SAID: I love this, and again I just love how well you are using the elements in this series. She sounds scary, more than the Wendigo on Charmed, and I loved the actress who played her. CARINA SAID: Wow, this is so much fun. I'm loving the story of the Wendigo with this one. CARINA SAID: I love that Paige's powers act up, and love that her having greed in her heart allowed the wendigo to prey on her. I sure hope they don't have any greed in their hearts, I'd hate for my Warrens to be possessed, but who am I kidding, it would make a fun story, if they did, even a little. Although they can’t consider Quinn an innocent since it was the greed in her heart that caused her to be possessed, they know that they have to try to save her. CARINA SAID: CARINA SAID: Well done, you did so well with this episode, Sasha Trudeau. I loved it.

Pheebs Esmeralda Carina phoebeville CARINA SAID: Love Christmas and Holiday themed episodes, love this Deadline article, with interviews on set. ES SAID: Based on a real article about the rip-off's Christmas episode, but I *so* love this more! I found the rip-off's boring. But then I have no connection to their stars like I do ours. DEIDRE SAID: I do love me some holiday themed episodes, the reboot had a terrible Christmas episode, it was really not how I like my Christmas episode, they are ones, I''d prefer if they were one-shots. So looking forward to EC's. CARINA SAID: Wouldn't it, so rewarding. ES SAID: When Pheebs wrote this, it reminded me of the fact that I watch 'All Halliwell's Eve' every Halloween. I'd LOVE to have had a Charmed Christmas episode that I could watch every Christmas! DEIDRE SAID: What are the Easter Eggs. I'm so excited to find out what it is. I certainly hope, it is special as TBC1 said, one I can re-watch every Christmas, I don't think anybody will be watching the reboot's Christmas one. As I said earlier, I like my Christmas episodes as one shot episodes, not part of a story-arc. That is the whole point of a Christmas themed special. CARINA SAID: Thank you Connie Burge, I agree, no demons or warlocks. Let this one be special. ES SAID: Unlike the rip-off, which DID include a villain of some sort. DEIDRE SAID: I'm so happy to hear it. CARINA SAID: Neither can I, Connie. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Thank you guys, I have faith you'll do a good job, so I can rush myself clean of the reboot's Christmas episode. CARINA SAID: ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I sure am, bring it on. If it is this good, I'll be sure to re-read it at Christmas. I sure wished Charmed did a Christmas story. I'm always so upset, that we didn't get one. But, I'm happy that I can at least read the only Charmed Christmas story ever released for Charmed in that Holiday themed short story Charmed book. One of my all time favorites, but I have since lost that book. I'm also surprised they didn't do more Halloween episodes of Charmed. But I do appreciate, they have released several Halloween themed stories in those Charmed books. I think some were set during Season 2, 4 or 5. I can't remember. ------------------------- CARINA SAID: That was a great tease. Now, I'm really wanting to know what will happen. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Those exclusive clips sure look interesting. I love it, and I'll hope that spoiled little girl learns the true meaning of Christmas. CARINA SAID: That is what I call a tribute. ES SAID: SO glad you think so! DEIDRE SAID: I certainly love the title, it really is perfect. Phoebe and smart spells, I'm sure she'll learn a lesson, but I do appreciate, that she is doing this in S1 not S2, I always felt like The Painted World felt like a S1 episode not a S2 episode, with just how the sisters were acting. Cut out all the Piper/Dan and P3 stuff, and you have yourself a S1 episode. CARINA SAID: Another time, we're getting insight into Salem culture. I love the idea of a foodie event. Why didn't Piper ever cater for this in Classic Charmed. It's perfect for a subplot. ES SAID: Yup, it is! DEIDRE SAID: Foodie Event, can I assume this really happened in Salem, if so, good job. And it totally fits Piper and the story. I love it. I also love that Prudence is in charge and has talked Piper into hosting one of the booths. --------------- CARINA SAID: I love that Prudence is a volunteer after she likely retired. ES SAID: Yup, she was a doctor and is 70, so she's definitely retired, which is why we liked the idea of her volunteering at not-for-profit organizations to keep her busy - and give us storylines! DEIDRE SAID: I gotta say, Prudence working for these not-for-profit organizations, is so much fun. Really I love it, because it lets Prudence have stories, and she has so far, proving just because she is retired, she still can have fun stories. And, I love that she can be more than just a mother or grandmother. I'll hope when I'm the age of Prudence in my 70s, I can do things like she does. CARINA SAID: Oh no, this Banshee is trouble. Vanquish her girls. But, I'm glad they haven't resolved their problems, that things are progressing unlike the real Charmed, the sisters just got over Prue after a few episodes. ES SAID: Oh, yes, Classic Charmed (well, what I count as the alternate-universe spin-off, "The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper", which fans count as S4-8) definitely needed an episode like this. A bit of irony that this is the episode that's a tribute. DEIDRE SAID: That Banshee is sure causing trouble, I'm left scared that she is in disguise, so they don't know who she is. And I love that it connects back to Victor's death. I love it, and we also have an innocent to save. CARINA SAID: Will it work Phoebe? ES SAID: Have to keep "watching"! DEIDRE SAID: I'm not so sure it will be that easy. CARINA SAID: I'm glad she admitted this, but love how not perfect they are, they make mistakes, as long as they learn from them. Can't say the same for the Halliwells on Charmed. ES SAID: Amen! And we made sure that they DID learn from their mistakes. DEIDRE SAID: I'm so proud of Phoebe. CARINA SAID: I'm glad, she'll help her the normal way, not the magic way to make sure she doesn't fail. ES SAID: Exactly! DEIDRE SAID: I'm so glad, they are doing it the normal way, and that Paige will help her make sure she will not fail. CARINA SAID: Good job Prudence Halliwell with this one. ES SAID: Yup, she rocked it! DEIDRE SAID: Prudence Halliwell, this was a great episode. It had so much to offer, in terms of showing the Warrens are not perfect, we got good nods to Charmed, innocents and more Salem culture. --------------- CARINA SAID: I loved it as a tribute, with a good lesson behind it. ES SAID: Our favorite type of episode! DEIDRE SAID: Mine too. CARINA SAID: I'll have THEM ALL, please. I love these. Don't I want to buy all of them. ES SAID: You and me both! They'd be my Merry Christmas to Es from Es gifts! DEIDRE SAID: GIVE ME!!! I'd so buy these for myself as gifts too, like Es. ------------ CARINA SAID: “Charmed: Twenty Years of Magic, that is a book I want to own with all the interviews with Burge, Shannen and all, and the thank you note to fans. YES PLEASE! ES SAID: Don't we wish they'd done something like this? DEIDRE SAID: I sure wish, this would be perfect. I'm upset Charmed couldn't even get something like this, for real, they could have interview the actors separately for the book, but I guess, they didn't want these books taking any attention off the reboot, and I bet CBS needs to approve these, and that's why. Still, in this universe, this is a Day One buy, I'll for sure, go into my book store to buy this, or even treat myself to it as Christmas present. CARINA SAID: I love how much a part Victor isn't forgotten, these early episodes have a great pace. I like learning about the Warrens. And this makes great sense, I'll hope they come home for Christmas, of course, they will, but love that they may learn another lesson. ES SAID: And that - learning lessons - is what this first half of our first season was all about! DEIDRE SAID: I love the title, perfect for a Christmas episode. I'm already so into it, and I feel for Piper and Phoebe, it being the first without Victor. CARINA SAID: I love that it lets them appreciate Victor even more. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I love that are at the mall, don't know why, but, I'm a strange person, who actually likes to see shows or movies showing the characters at the mall shopping for gifts and picking out presents. This story really was so good, I'm so happy they can finally admit this, and come home for Christmas. I'll always wonder, if this could have made a better Christmas episode for Charmed with Phoebe and Piper letting Paige move into the manor in Prue's room as their present to her, to make her feel welcome. Actually, Paige seeing her parents on Christmas would have been an even better way to close out Christmas. But enough with Classic Charmed, I really loved this story for the Phoebe and Piper. But wait, I still have the Prudence, Patience and Paige story with the spoiled girl from the previews. CARINA SAID: I can't wait to find out what it is. ES SAID: I hope you like it! DEIDRE SAID: I'm dying to know what it is. Patience, I can't wait for the gift. ----------------- CARINA SAID: This is perfect, I love it so much. Yes, the best present. ES SAID: And, of course, you know what that's based on - the only bit of Christmas we got on Classic Charmed! DEIDRE SAID: This touches me, because, I love that video on Charmed, the only Christmas related thing the show ever did. Yes, this is the best present, and only makes this story that much more special. CARINA SAID: I love that without Piper around they do it the old fashioned way. ES SAID: Hehehehe! DEIDRE SAID: No Piper, they have to do it the old fashioned way. Again, I love how it has no demons or warlocks, this makes the Christmas episode more special. ---------------- CARINA SAID: I love that this little girl learns the true meaning of Christmas, as do Piper and Phoebe, and they come home and watch the video. Well done, Sasha Trudeau and Es. This is a really great Christmas and Holiday episode, and perfect way to end the the year before EC goes on break. Now, I can't wait for the second half of S1.
ES SAID: SOOO very glad that you liked this one! Remember that two names means the first person wrote it and then the second person edited it, usually changing it a bit to make it better. For me, that was the Christmas video and the two sisters enjoying their Christmases with Victor more than the ones with the Warrens. DEIDRE SAID: I loved the whole episode, and that everyone learns the true meaning of Christmas. Yes, this was so perfect, the reboot's Christmas episode, is now washed away. Thanks Sasha Trudeau for writing it, and Es for editing it.

I'm glad they made you smile, Carina! I know yours did that to me which is why I wanted to share them. It sounds like the others may just reply to the ones that they wrote so they can respond to what you say and leave Pheebs' Deadline articles for her to reply. Would that be okay with you?

CARINA SAID: Again this title makes me think someone or something is changing into something. Could be anything. ES SAID: Definitely true… CARINA SAID: The Legend of the Wendigo. I love her checking up on a former client, and of course our Patience is also here to take photos. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Nice to hear from Jessica again. ES SAID: I thought you’d like that! CARINA SAID: ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I love this, and again I just love how well you are using the elements in this series. She sounds scary, more than the Wendigo on Charmed, and I loved the actress who played her. ES SAID: Yes, Team Charmed Cafe loves Jocelyn Seagrave, too – she’s the one playing Peyton in CCDOW. CARINA SAID: Wow, this is so much fun. I'm loving the story of the Wendigo with this one. ES SAID: So glad that you do – we think it’s better than the S1 version and that’s not easy to do! Sasha did SUCH a great job with it! CARINA SAID: I love that Paige's powers act up, and love that her having greed in her heart allowed the wendigo to prey on her. ES SAID: Well, Quinn did. Thank God, Paige didn’t! --------------- CARINA SAID: I sure hope they don't have any greed in their hearts, I'd hate for my Warrens to be possessed, but who am I kidding, it would make a fun story, if they did, even a little. ES SAID: Hehehehehe! Oh, don’t be surprised if one or two Warren gets possessed before the series is over! That’s too much fun to not do! --------------- CARINA SAID: Although they can’t consider Quinn an innocent since it was the greed in her heart that caused her to be possessed, they know that they have to try to save her. ES SAID: Oh, yes, she’s an innocent – remember our definition: a non-magical who doesn’t know about the reality of magic – and that fits Quinn. Whether she’s good or not has nothing to do with it. Those are the ones the Elemental Witches are supposed to save, so our Warrens try. Canon Charmed (especially once Kern took over) looked at it differently. CARINA SAID: ES SAID: And, of course, they are able to, but I’d love to watch them try! CARINA SAID: Well done, you did so well with this episode, Sasha Trudeau. I loved it. ES SAID: Can’t wait until you finish S2 so I can share this with Sasha!

PVILLE SAID: I loved this tribute, and the title was so cool. PVILLE SAID: I love it too, what a cool setting for an episode. PVILLE SAID: Yeah, it is very fun to see. I can't wait to see what new places Prudence volunteers in next. PVILLE SAID: I'm scared too. I'm just glad none of them turned into a Banshee, and just let her go after them, so much more fun. CARINA SAID: Will it work Phoebe? ES SAID: Have to keep "watching"! DEIDRE SAID: I'm not so sure it will be that easy. PVILLE SAID: And I know the answer that it did. PVILLE SAID: I am too. CARINA SAID: I'm glad, she'll help her the normal way, not the magic way to make sure she doesn't fail. ES SAID: Exactly! DEIDRE SAID: I'm so glad, they are doing it the normal way, and that Paige will help her make sure she will not fail. PVILLE SAID: CARINA SAID: Good job Prudence Halliwell with this one. ES SAID: Yup, she rocked it! DEIDRE SAID: Prudence Halliwell, this was a great episode. It had so much to offer, in terms of showing the Warrens are not perfect, we got good nods to Charmed, innocents and more Salem culture. PVILLE SAID: It was a fun read when I read it last time, on this second read, It was still so great. --------------- CARINA SAID: I loved it as a tribute, with a good lesson behind it. ES SAID: Our favorite type of episode! DEIDRE SAID: Mine too. PVILLE SAID: *nods* me too. PVILLE SAID: And I sure would want these too. I love novelization, I wished Charmed did more of them, especially because they are twice as long as an episode, we'd get to learn more about what was cut from the original script, or episode. PVILLE SAID: I really loved this one. This one is so perfect, and one, I'd so want to read too. PVILLE SAID: And one I can't wait to re-read this one. PVILLE SAID: I really love it too. What a good Christmas story. CARINA SAID: I can't wait to find out what it is. ES SAID: I hope you like it! DEIDRE SAID: I'm dying to know what it is. Patience, I can't wait for the gift. PVILLE SAID: And the present was the perfect nod to Charmed. PVILLE SAID: I loved the video, what a cool present and the best one for Piper and Phoebe missing Victor. CARINA SAID: I love that without Piper around they do it the old fashioned way. ES SAID: Hehehehe! DEIDRE SAID: No Piper, they have to do it the old fashioned way. Again, I love how it has no demons or warlocks, this makes the Christmas episode more special. PVILLE SAID: I loved that they had to do that.
PVILLE SAID: Sasha Trudeau really made a perfect Christmas episode. I loved it so much.

Pheebs Carina phoebeville ES SAID: OH, so good to hear from you again, Deidre - I've missed you, but I'm sure you've been busy with Real Life. I have to get to work early today, but I'll get as much of this done as I can and then, if necessary, finish tonight. CARINA SAID: Love Christmas and Holiday themed episodes, love this Deadline article, with interviews on set. ES SAID: Hope you'll love our Christmas-themed one the way most of the readers have! ES SAID: Do you know what an Easter Egg on TV or movies is, Deidre? It's something that points back to an early show, so something that will remind classic Charmed fans of something from Charmed. You're absolutely right that making a Christmas-themed show as part of a story arc doesn't work very well because then you won't want to watch it each year. I know I re-watch 'All Halliwell's Eve' every Halloween and the bits between Phoebe and Cole always throw me since it's part of an arc. I wish they could've kept that out, even if it was needed in order for the sisters to go back in time - although I think they could've worked around that. CARINA SAID: Thank you Connie Burge, I agree, no demons or warlocks. Let this one be special. ES SAID: Unlike the rip-off, which DID include a villain of some sort. DEIDRE SAID: I'm so happy to hear it. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: Neither can I, Connie. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Thank you guys, I have faith you'll do a good job, so I can rush myself clean of the reboot's Christmas episode. ES SAID: YAY!! If it does that's one of the best compliments you could give it! CARINA SAID: ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: I sure am, bring it on. If it is this good, I'll be sure to re-read it at Christmas. ES SAID: I hope you mean you'll RE-read it at Christmas! I hope you don't wait til Christmas to read it for the first time! -------------- DEIDRE SAID: I sure wished Charmed did a Christmas story. I'm always so upset, that we didn't get one. But, I'm happy that I can at least read the only Charmed Christmas story ever released for Charmed in that Holiday themed short story Charmed book. One of my all time favorites, but I have since lost that book. ES SAID: Oh, I'm sorry that you lost that because all of those stories are good ones! --------------- DEIDRE SAID: I'm also surprised they didn't do more Halloween episodes of Charmed. But I do appreciate, they have released several Halloween themed stories in those Charmed books. I think some were set during Season 2, 4 or 5. I can't remember. ES SAID: It's been a while since I've read them, but I think you're right. Of course Kern wouldn't want one-shots in the midst of his story arcs so we probably wouldn't have liked what he gave us - best to just have 'All Halliwell's Eve' - one of my favorite episodes. CARINA SAID: That was a great tease. Now, I'm really wanting to know what will happen. ES SAID: DEIDRE SAID: Those exclusive clips sure look interesting. I love it, and I'll hope that spoiled little girl learns the true meaning of Christmas. ES SAID: Hehehehe - I'll bet for sure now you won't wait til Christmas to read it! ES SAID: Hmmm, hadn't thought of that before, but having just recently re-watched that episode with Team Charmed Café, I can say you're absolutely right! We just re-watched 'Morality Bites' this weekend and it's weird to see Leo and Piper acting like they've been dating for a while when he's been gone since 'Love Hurts' and Piper was already drooling over Dan. It's my favorite episode and I think I'll just watch it on its own, not as part of the season. But the way it messed up Piper, turning someone who should've never been a mother into one, I often wish my favorite episode had never been shown. ES SAID: Yup, it truly happens every year. I'm glad you love this version of our Prudence! She's more Grams than Prue in this one! ES SAID: I was so happy when one of the Team Charmed Café members first mentioned Prudence volunteering, because you're right - it really does give us a chance to write stories for her. ---------------- DEIDRE SAID: I'll hope when I'm the age of Prudence in my 70s, I can do things like she does. ES SAID: Well, I'm 66 now, so I'll be 70 in four years! That's when I plan on retiring and then, oh, yes, I definitely want to do a lot of volunteering! What about you, Deidre? When you're done with S1, would you mind letting me share your reviews with Team Charmed Café? --------------- CARINA SAID: I loved it as a tribute, with a good lesson behind it. ES SAID: Our favorite type of episode! DEIDRE SAID: Mine too. ES SAID: CARINA SAID: I'll have THEM ALL, please. I love these. Don't I want to buy all of them. ES SAID: You and me both! They'd be my Merry Christmas to Es from Es gifts! DEIDRE SAID: GIVE ME!!! I'd so buy these for myself as gifts too, like Es. ES SAID: This is what REALLY made me wish this was real!! ------------ CARINA SAID: “Charmed: Twenty Years of Magic, that is a book I want to own with all the interviews with Burge, Shannen and all, and the thank you note to fans. ES SAID: That's why I'll NEVER forgive them for starting the rip-off the same year as Charmed's 20th anniversary so there was hardly anything done about it at all! I'm so glad we used it as our reason for re-watching Charmed, which in turn got us working on CCDOW. CARINA SAID: I love how much a part Victor isn't forgotten, these early episodes have a great pace. I like learning about the Warrens. And this makes great sense, I'll hope they come home for Christmas, of course, they will, but love that they may learn another lesson. I'm already so into it, and I feel for Piper and Phoebe, it being the first without Victor. ES SAID: Having lost both of my parents, I know how hard that first Christmas without them was, so I can really feel for Piper and Phoebe. ES SAID: That's not strange - I'm the same way and I know most of my friends feel that way. --------- DEIDRE SAID: This story really was so good, I'm so happy they can finally admit this, and come home for Christmas. ES SAID: Well, I've heard that 'A Paige From the Past' was supposed to be a Christmas episode but it was changed due to 9/11. But I'm not sure if I believe it. I like your idea of the Halliwells PRESENTING Paige with Prue's room as her Christmas present rather than them almost FORCING her to. They just wanted her to be part of the Power of Three; they didn't actually treat her as a friend or sister. I SO hated that - even as I wish they'd mourn Prue longer and as an assistant social worker, Paige had helped them cope with Prue's death while not trying to replace Prue. I HATED how they handled that whole thing! -------------- DEIDRE SAID: But enough with Classic Charmed, I really loved this story for the Phoebe and Piper. But wait, I still have the Prudence, Patience and Paige story with the spoiled girl from the previews. ES SAID: That's part of the fun of having the previews! CARINA SAID: I can't wait to find out what it is. ES SAID: I hope you like it! DEIDRE SAID: I'm dying to know what it is. Patience, I can't wait for the gift. ES SAID: ----------------- CARINA SAID: This is perfect, I love it so much. Yes, the best present. ES SAID: And, of course, you know what that's based on - the only bit of Christmas we got on Classic Charmed! DEIDRE SAID: This touches me, because, I love that video on Charmed, the only Christmas related thing the show ever did. Thank you Es for sharing those, I'm smiling that they enjoyed my comments. I see Summer Reading has replied to my series. So I might copy those over to my thread to discuss. I'm glad they made you smile, Carina! I know yours did that to me which is why I wanted to share them. It sounds like the others may just reply to the ones that they wrote so they can respond to what you say and leave Pheebs' Deadline articles for her to reply. Would that be okay with you? That will be fine by me Es. Since I'm sure they'll be able to provide more input on what inspired them to write the episode and I can ask more questions.
